  • Works well
Tool is versatile and works well. It requires some care to get good results. The edge trimmer has a horizontal guide and another about 20 degrees off. Sure there may be a better tool but at the price point its a good choice.

  • Easy to use but be careful with that razor blade
Very nice multifunctional tool in a very small and light package - but be extra careful with that razor blade when trimming your mushroomed cue tip - it would be very easy to damage your feral while doing that. Very good value - price / quality is very good.

  • Works but be careful
The scuffer areas of this tool are unique from my experience and work well. The tip trimmer (pencil sharpener part) works well also -with one caveat. The angle machined into the block is much too steep to allow the user to simply insert and turn. The taper is perhaps 20* which would lead to a severely cone-shaped,narrow tip, and ferrule damage. Take your time and use magnification if you have it. Had the divot on the end been deeper and tapered to serve as a burnisher to prevent mushrooming, this tool would get 5 stars. It's handy and I would recommend to others. ... show more

  • Pool cue tool
This unit seems well built. However, the razor part of it is a joke. It's almost impossible to use. There are no instructions to help either. It butchered a new Sniper I had installed. It almost impossible to control the razor use. I would avoid this product

  • Pleasantly surprised
I was skeptical. Kinda expected a gimmick. But this little gadget is machined well and actually works. The blades are sharp, the scraping/burnishing sections are effective. It just worked. Comes with an extra blade and a small allen wrench needed to swap them. Buy this, tip(s), something to hold the tip until the glue sets, super glue, and a small batch of ~200 grit (to scuff the bottom of the tip) and ~600 grit to clean up the tip/ferrule afterwards, and that's all you need. ... show more

  • Excellent tip tool - must have for any pool player.
This tool is a must have and it will pay for itself in just one use. Is it perfect like a lathe? Absolutely not. Can you install tips yourself with this tool. 100%. It takes a lot of time and patience, but you can get it near perfect. The blade is sharp and durable. I even installed an extremely hard Taom break tip with this tool. Just make sure you tape off the ferrule. You can get the tip flush with the ferrule if you use some sandpaper at the very end. I don't need to travel and wait for tip replacements any longer. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these. ... show more
