It may be because of my son and how he handled it, the que was solid when I got it. Anyways, I wrote to customer support and sent them an image. It was outside of return window by a couple of weeks. I had read a few reviews on this item that were negative, somebody said theirs wasn't completely straight. Someone else said their tip broke pretty quick. Mine was straight as an arrow and wow, what a sweet cue!! The only part of my game that is good is I have a really strong break. I immediately set out to break as hard as I f'ing could over and over so that if the tip was bad or it was going to split it would happen during the return period. I've broken as hard as I possibly can (I have the strongest break of anyone I know) and wow does this 21 oz beauty break like a champ, the rafters shake when I break. The rest of my game is garbage (although this cue is great), my break wakes the neighbors. The rest of my game is better with this cue, to be clear, and I absolutely love it, but my concern was reliability and this cue has clearly endured my initial shock and awe test. And yes it's great for everything else too. Best $40 I've ever spent! And my pool league teammates are fascinated by the unusual "dildo" handle. It's unique and get's attention. I'm not a pro (even though I play pool league, terribly) but this cue definitely is. First 36 hours of using it I couldn't be happier!!!

This cute was exactly as advertised. It was straight and worked very well. The tip was perfectly shaped and only needed to be scuffed to hold chalk. The grip works great especially if more than only you are shooting with it because it can be held comfortably lower or higher on the butt of the cue. The tip is hard leather and is great for breaking and shooting, although I took it to my pro-cue guy to have the shaft shaved down thinner and a medium tip put on, but only because I use alot of English when I shoot. This cue is a perfect starter cue for the occasional pool shooter. If you are a more experienced player, it is also a great and economical cue that can be professionally modified to your liking. Why spend an astronomical amount of money for a cue if you cannot afford to, when this cue is very adequate? It can be shaved down and re-tipped for around $20, that is 10 times less than a custom designer cue. A great cue for the cost!
