There is too much straight space between the shoulders and the curved portion of the machine so that you cannot do a proper, full crunch. Instead, only your head and neck come up off the floor and the headrest digs into your neck which is painful. The curve should be much closer to the shoulders to allow for an immediate and fuller crunch. I was very disappointed and had to return it. ... show more

upon beginning of exercise, the neck/head pad slides up under the shoulders. This makes the intended crunch movement very difficult to do properly.

The foam headrest is very uncomfortable. It’s too small and your head moves around while doing exercises. I’ve tried putting a towel or something else to cushion my neck from hitting the metal bar but it’s not stable. As a result, I don’t use this abdominal equipment very much.
