Quick sanding with 220grit and a wet wipe down. 3 coats of bright white gloss and 3 coats of clear. 2 hour install. Harnesses worked great. Routing wires was fine. Double sided adhesive on the roof and the brackets are solid. Behave the same as stock tail lights and have reverse light built in. Hopefully they last. Pro: looks good if you don’t mind extra work. Cons: missing mounting hardware (bolts, washers etc) missing instruction manual and missing parts list. Plug in wiring harness both sides had broken or damaged pins in connector. Repair of these was needed to get the lights to work properly.

I have a 2013 JK so I ordered the JK version of these. The brackets didn’t line up… Then I remembered that I had bought a 2022 hard top from someone wanting a soft top… So I returned the lights and ordered the JL version… And again the brackets don’t line up, only this time their worse. I’ve seen the pics so I know some have had luck. But this recent set came with no instructions so I know it’s like a return that got recycled back to me. It’s luck of the draw if you get a set that actually matches your topper, I believe the company has a bad batch out there. The JK version is marked as frequently returned… Take a chance if you want to, as these do look cool if you can find one that actually lines up. PS: If your thinking about forgoing the bracket… Not advisable, That 3M tape is no going to be enough. ... show more

Lights are great but they don’t work in circuit that has diodes in existing taillights to prevent backfeed while towing. Bracket bolt holes were a little off but that could be rectified. I also read where it’s possible that incandescent and LEDs in same circuit might be a problem. Rather than try to modify wiring I sent them back. ... show more
