Great accessory for kitesurfing... It really worth the value, keeping my head protected of any injury from my surfboard or foil.....It is very confortable and also protects your face and eyes from the sun. I really love it and would recommend it to any kitesurfer..... safety first!!!!

I wear this every time I surf. It's a little harder to duck dive, but no big deal. It gives me confidence, and shades the sun, and keeps rain out of my eyes. I love it.

Five stars for style and the idea. It looks great and I would use it even without the head protection just for the style and sun protection, every time I go surfing with it I get complimented on it and people are surprised it’s also a (kind of) helmet. One star for quality. The threads are cheap and all fell apart after a month, I had to redo and reinforce them all. Also could use a hard shell between the hat and the bump cap, I added one I bought for 5 dollars on amazon. I hope this company succeeds and comes out with a better quality product. ... show more

of course this does not provide the protection of a full helmet but this is a very well designed "hatmet" as I like to call it. I wear it surfing and it really is quite comfortable. I forget I have it on. keeps my bald spot from getting sun scorched. and my head size is 23" I usually order head things in medium/large and this fits me fine.
