  • WORKS! A much needed upgrade and extended life.
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
Gave extended life to an aged undersized laptop. Upgrade from 8GB to 2GB noticeably improved response times, reduced page-swap and disk activity. Can’t blame install problems on the RAM (what size are those damned laptop screws anyway?!), those were all on APPLE. RAM install a breeze once the case was opened. ... show more

  • It works fine and super easy to install
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
The machine is a mid 2009 MacBook Pro. Earlier I replaced 4Gb (2x2Gb) with 8Gb (2x4Gb) from another manufacture from Amazon. Failure. I returned it to Amazon for a refund and bought this 8Gb set. It works perfectly. The machine is now far more responsive. It's a great way to update an old machine so tha that it works more like a modern machine. The motivation for the memory increase: Apple no longer supports this old of a machine with software updates. This means one cannot update any new apps or update old one. A big problem! But with some research, one can install the latest operating system. But it's more of a memory hog than the older operating systems. At that point it became absolutely necessary to increase memory. With the ne operating system and the first increase of memory, it is like a brand new machine (well close anyway). It sure beats buying a new machine. Ease of installation: You need something like a jewelry set of screwdrivers to take off about 10 screws off the bottom metal base. The screws are very small so be sure to put them in a container so they don't roll off the table never to be seen again. Upon removing the bottom base cover, the memory is right in front of you. Just push the side holding restraints sideways and the memory card pops out. Simply replace the cards, and screw on the bottom plate. 5-10 minutes and the job is complete. ... show more

  • Works for A1297 MacBook Pro 17"
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
Worked very well and fixed all issues in RAM. I have a MacBook Pro 17-inch from Mid 2010. This fit easily fixing any RAM issues. System information recognized well and that was that. A great price. Satisfied!

  • Worked in my iMac late 2009 27 inch like a CHARM!
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
This worked like a CHARM! I took home a late 2009 27 inch iMac to begin working from home (full specs below). It hadn't been updated in years and years, AND it only had 4 GB of RAM. It was soooooo slow, I affectionately/frustratingly called it the dinosaur because it was old and much like dinosaur bones, you could only admire it and think of what it once was. I was on the verge of tears. Then, my husband who builds PCs, asked if I could somehow modify it to help. I Googled and came across an article that you could add memory using these cards. My somewhat tech savvy but not handy self, bought these and used a screwdriver to open up the little door as the article and YouTube video stated, popped these babies in easily, and voila! The dinosaur iMac recognized them RIGHT away, no issues. With this upgrade to 12 GB and the new system, it has gone from dino to maybe a grandpa. These were the best purchase I ever made to modify my work's computer without permission! Hooray! Processor- 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory before - 4GB Graphics- ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB ... show more

  • Works fine, but
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
I installed one of this kit in my IMac Late 2009 27-inch model. (12GBs, as a whole.) It's been about three weeks, and so far it works just fine -- no problem whatsoever. Just that their maker, part number and serial number don't show up in the system information. They all appear as 0x with lots of zeros. Cpu-z, a Windows sysinfo application, shows nothing except their speed and capacity. Well I can persuade my ego to close one eye and recall my long-lost art of remembering that they are A-Tech Premium Memories. :-) Other than that they all work just fine. ... show more

Worked in my late 2009 Mac Mini (macmini 3,1) just fine! Currently got the thing on High Sierra with dosdude1's patcher, planning on going Even Further Beyond with the aid of double the RAM it had previously.

  • Just a really great product.
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
My trusty old 2010 macbook is still kicking after all these years, and I've been thinking about an upgrade for a while now. Fortunately, these modules DOUBLED my RAM and were a cinch to install. Had some minor issues post-install with a weird humming noise, but turns out if you don't follow directions, you have issues. Had to open my machine back up to re-adjust the top chip, but after the fix, the humming went away. Really great product. Super happy with it. ... show more

  • 8GB RAM for MacBook Pro (Mid 2009, 15”)
Size: 8GB Kit (2x4GB)
Working great in my Mid 2009 15” Apple MacBook Pro. Installation took under 5 minutes and was a breeze. Had an old machine around for legacy software and wanted more RAM for heavier programs. This did the trick and was very affordable.
