When our window broke, I thought I was in for an expensive replacement. I popped open the car door and determined what the cable had slipped out of it's tab. While I could probably have bent the tab back into place and it would have held up for a while. Instead, I opted to replace it with this unit. The old unit came out easily. Then, I slipped the new unit into place. Hints: 1. Take photos of the existing unit before you take it out so that you can orient it correctly and line up the screw holes. 2. This is what you need when your window drops. It takes some skill to take apart the door apart without breaking it. Watch a youtube video if you are unsure. Confirm the correct door is ordered. They are not interchangeable.

    • If your window will not roll down, your window might just be stuck to the window seal.

Used on a 2002 Honda accord and it worked and fit great. The bracket for the wire harness did not fit the door, but I just use the old one not a real problem. Before replacing the part, I would strongly recommend confirming the window is not stock to the window molding from non-use.
