Works Well and Installation Was a Breeze

When our window broke, I thought I was in for an expensive replacement. I popped open the car door and determined what the cable had slipped out of it's tab. While I could probably have bent the tab back into place and it would have held up for a while. Instead, I opted to replace it with this unit. The old unit came out easily. Then, I slipped the new unit into place. Hints: 1. Take photos of the existing unit before you take it out so that you can orient it correctly and line up the screw holes. 2. Use painters tape to support the window glass in the track. 3. Loosely install all of the screws first, adjust the alignment, then tighten the screws.

Perfect fit for Honda accord

The order was delivered with cares and was quick. The part is an exact fit for the car. Honda accord 2001. The only thing I notice is louder than normal when raising or lowering the glass. I should have put some grease but didn’t and now I don’t want to open the whole thing again. Overall very satisfied and holding good so far after 3 weeks.

We had two windows (driver side and passenger) get stuck in the down position within just weeks of each other. Luckily I was easily able to find the replacement mechanisms we needed on Amazon and my husband was able to replace them fairly easily after just watching a couple of YouTube videos. I’m confident these items would have been hundreds at the dealership. The price was great and the delivery was fast! Very satisfied customer.

Exact fit drop in replacement

This is what you need when your window drops. It takes some skill to take apart the door apart without breaking it. Watch a youtube video if you are unsure. Confirm the correct door is ordered. They are not interchangeable.

If your window will not roll down, your window might just be stuck to the window seal.
Style: Front Driver Side (LH)
Used on a 2002 Honda accord and it worked and fit great. The bracket for the wire harness did not fit the door, but I just use the old one not a real problem. Before replacing the part, I would strongly recommend confirming the window is not stock to the window molding from non-use. Using a shim and run it around the window to break the window seal.
