Exact fit OEM thermostat housing includes thermostat and oring seal. Perfectly fit my 2008 Jeep Wrangler 3.8l. no need for any gaskets this comes with everything you need, just torque down the 2 bolts to 105 inch pounds and you'll be good to go with no leaks. Works awesome. As soon as I installed it and started it within a few minutes the thermostat opened up and cooled the motor. My old one was stuck open. Thanks for making a great inexpensive part package.

Didn’t use this one was just for backup but have tried Dorman and not been impressed but maybe it was a skill issue. I’ve bought a lot of A Premium parts and never have a problem with them. This is the one I would go with if I needed a new one. Add UV dye to your coolant because this can leak very slowly if your mating surface is bad. In which case you need a gasket (felpro with RTV on the bottom) to make a new mating surface. It can very easily look like the hose is leaking and drive you nuts

I was skeptical at first to purchase the thermostat with housing, however comparing it to the original Mopar/Jeep Wrangler part.. it's basically the same...I installed it and is working fine so far 🤞🏻
