had replaced on friends car and 3 days later said was still having same problem with a dead battery. suggested might be another issue, such as wiring. after 2 professional mechanics had checked it out, that the alternator is defective. turns out that i am outside of the return window which is only 30 days for a brand new alternator. one would think a 1 year warranty should apply. FYI read close to the return policies. didnt think a new alternator would be defective/ fail so soon. would suggest not purchasing from this supplier ... show more

I'm sure the seller is great. The problem is Amazon said it would fit my 2015 Santa Fe 2.4 engine and I'm sure it fit into the brackets of the engine but however the plug on the alternator is different from the plug on the vehicles wiring harness.
