installation was as expected fiddley due to install location. I used a clamp shorten the lower mount, do this before install. dash board lights brighter, I have confidence it will last great product great price. I returned core to AutoZone.

After just a few weeks it failed going into higher voltage and over charging the battery. Light for alternator is on. I sent an email and no reply.

Bought this alternator for my 2007 Honda Odyssey, It didn’t fit the bottom mount, I had to use a dremel to grind the rear bushing down a bit, after that it fits. Hooked everything back up started van checked the voltage was 14.5 volts DC. SO FAR SO GOOD. Very happy with my purchase

The price of this alternator actually was too good to be true and too bad that I couldn't know until after I paid a mechanic to install it to find out that it was completely defective and inoperable. Cost me an extra $350 - on top of the $225 I had already paid for this part and labor - to replace this alternator with one from Autozone and to have my mechanic remove and reinstall a new one!
