This is a great Freddy Krueger mask. Very detailed, excellent workmanship. The mask is a good size for a child (8-15 years old), it is big for any age under 7 years of age. For adults, it is a little tight but still fits most adults. The only negative is the HEAVY PVC smell, which is common in the industry. Nonetheless, if you are planning to purchase this for a child, it would be a good idea to do a little online research into the effects of PVC off-gas on children. While less of an issue for adults, the effect on children can be significant, especially since this mask is "complete," meaning it goes on your head like a bag, and your head is totally encapsulated in this mask. Therefore, the only air you will breath comes into the mask through the small nostril holes in Freddy's nose. So most of the "air" you will be breathing will be the contaminated air (off-gas) within this PVC mask. From what I have read online, PVC contains some very dangerous chemicals but it is better for each person do the research and come to their own conclusion. ... show more

This mask is good quality and heavy. My 10 yr old could wear it but it’s still a bit big and doesn’t stay in place. We made it work tho for Halloween. I wouldn’t say it’s “for kids” because it’s too big but like I said, we tightened it to stay put. Overall satisfied.

Yes, it is thin and flimsy and feels like a strong wind would tear it in two, but it is really quite sturdy and strong. I also like that it looks like a second skin. My son complained that it smelled "weird" and has been wearing it to get used to it. I have to admit it. It scares me looking at him in it. Not that I am afraid of Freddy Krueger in particular, just that it is a scary looking mask. I cannot not say for sure that it is THE BEST mask out there as I have not seen all of them, but it was reasonably priced and fits extremely well and looks scary as anything. What more could you ask for? ***Post Halloween Update*** My son thought the mask was great. It fit him fine and he looked pretty scary he also got a lot of compliments on his costume. The only downside is that by the end of the night he was calling himself "Sweaty Krueger" because the mask got pretty hot. Luckily, the end of October is pretty cool here but he was still a little overheated. I imagine that is probably a problem with most latex masks... ... show more

Look the fact the cheaper version of the same product looks better, shapes better, it has more contrast. I’m not saying this quality is bad but is not worth the price the simple deluxe version looks better. This is suppers so be the “SUPER DElUXE” version is not that superior and I actually feel the “Deluxe Version” feel and look better when you have it on. Not saying the product is bad is not at the lever is promoted or look in the pictures. ... show more

This looks nothing like the photo, do not waste your money, buyer beware. Make sure you read it IS NOT RETURNABLE!!! The only thing scary about it is, It’s a plastic mess, not a good value for the money It’s also very large good luck sizing it to stay on.

When this mask got to me it was all smashed up in a sealed plastic bag, but once out it sprang back to shape and looked absolutely incredible. If you didn't know already the most difficult slasher to find a mask for is in fact Freddy, Spirit and Party City had some but not anywhere near the style and quality that this mask is at. I highly recommend this mask to anyone who is looking to cosplay or dress up as Freddy for halloween or just for general use.
