This unit started with ease. Ran on propane for the hour break in period. Configured home breaker box with interlock system and 30 amp exterior plug in. Generator had no issues running lights, furnace, tv, fridge and more... Very impressive! Ready for RV back up as well. Good purchase for the price.

Impressive quality for the price!

Also with reports of individuals shooting at sub stations, we wanted to protect our food supplies etc. I saw one of these in use when camping and the owner had nothing but praise for the unit. Good generator for the $$

Starts easy, runs quiet, I do not regret my purchase but a little disappointed in the performance. I ran the 2300 generator at our lake, the breaker continually tripped when using the coffee maker or when the frig kicked on. My 2200I Honda which we used for several weeks before this new purchase and the 2200i Honda did not trip one single time with the same load. Just sayin. Quieter than an open frame generator, but not that quiet.

I use this generator as the primary 120v power source for my campervan. While it is much more quiet than the open frame generator that it replaced, it's not at all stealthy or subtle. You will not be able to run this overnight in a campground without upsetting your neighbors, but it won't attract too much attention at a truck stop or rest area if you park near idling trucks. I mostly just use it to run a small portable air conditioner. That's asking a lot from a generator this small, but the generator gets the job done without too many issues as long as I don't run it in the eco-mode. My air conditioner sometimes starts hard after sitting for a while, and it can be a pain to get it to start. I have to start the generator, and flip the eco-switch on and then back off to keep the RPM high so that it won't bog down when the AC starts up. Once it gets past that initial hard start, the generator runs the AC just fine. Even without the eco-mode, I have never had to fill this generator up in the middle of the night. As long as I fill it full before I go to sleep, it seems to last all night without too many problems. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this generator. It's not as quiet as I hoped, but it's much better than the lawnmower level noise of an open frame generator. I didn't think I'd use the extendable handle very often, but I find myself using it more often than not. Now that I've had one, I don't think I'd buy a generator that didn't have one. ... show more

I love the generator but it didn’t come with the RV plug or the oil. Not the biggest deal however the manual says call them and they will send it. I called A-itech and said they never heard of this model. WTF. Really I just hung up the phone. But I do like my generator

Won't start

Did everything the instructions required. It won't start!!! Nearly blew out my shoulder from trying to get this thing to crank. Read troubleshooting, still NO JOY!!! BUYER BEWARE. I should've listened to the other reviewer that gave it one star.
