    • A Surprisingly Great Rug for High-Traffic Areas

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this 6x9 area rug! Not only does it look great in my living room, but it's also surprisingly plush and soft underfoot. The neutral color is a perfect fit for our "we don't know what we're doing" decor, and I love how the geometric pattern adds some visual interest to the space. But what really impressed me was how easy this rug is to clean! With two kids and a cat that tosses her cookies several times a week, I thought for sure this rug would be a lost cause. However, it's been through numerous cleanings and still looks like pretty dang good. My one complaint is that I cannot vacuum "traditionally" with our cordless vacuum. No matter what attachment I use, when I pull the vacuum back towards me, the carpet comes with it, jamming the rollers. So I have to vacuum in a push-only pattern. While standing on the rug (though that last part might be mitigated if we actually put a carpet-keeper underneath). I'd highly recommend this rug to anyone looking for a stylish and practical addition to their home. I purchased a 9 x 12 size rug. The packaging was done beautifully and the rug quality was very nice right out of the box. As others described the material is somewhat velvety and is very soft. I expected the rug to be thin since it’s washable, so I put the rug over my already existing rug, which was an 8 x 10 but as you can see does not look bad and provides some additional padding. I expected the rug to come with wrinkles so I will see how they flatten out over the next few days. If not, I’ll take a steamer to it to reduce the wrinkles . Without having washed it, I cannot speak to the longevity of the product nor how easy stains will be removed so I may update my review once I have washed it for the first time. For those of you looking to buy a 9 x 12 you will want to know that per the instructions, you cannot wash it in a traditional at home washing machine. It is recommended you take it to a commercial size washer a.k.a. laundromat or dry cleaner. That would be the one downside, however, previous non washable rugs you couldn’t really get them truly clean at all, so I’m looking forward to even having that as an option. I was pretty impressed with this rug. Supppppeer soft & lightweight. I vacuumed it for the first time and I was surprised that it didn’t suck up into my vacuum at all! And the fact that I can wash it is perfect. Very happy with this purchase.
