I deducted one star because this rug is EXTREMELY thin, and thus I doubt it will last over the course of years. However, for the price, and the low-traffic room I'm using it for, it's fine for my needs. That said, it's really beautiful. The pattern is as pictured, there are no fake worn spots in the design. The design is crisp and clear. The picture makes the gray look like it's a slightly green-toned gray - it is not. It is 100% pure gray and charcoal, no green undertones at all. The design on this 5'x7' beige rug is exactly as pictured, and I'm pleased with how it looks. However, it's quite thin, which makes me doubt its durability in high-traffic areas. Unlike thicker rugs that come rolled up, this one arrives folded three or four times due to its thinness. This rug is made of a flat low-pile polyester, and it feels pleasantly soft underfoot. However, the pattern appears to be printed on rather than woven into the fabric. While it comes with an anti-slip backing to prevent slipping, it still tends to move around a bit because of its thinness. Considering its price, I would say it's a decent choice for low-traffic areas where you won't have too much wear and tear, but I wouldn’t pay more than $60 for this rug. One claim is that the rug is machine washable, but personally, I've had mixed results with washing rugs in my front-loading washing machine. Waterlogged rugs can become incredibly heavy and cause my machine to shake during the spin cycle. As a result, I'm a bit hesitant to test it in the washing machine. Instead, I plan to use my carpet cleaner, which I trust more for cleaning it effectively. In summary, this rug boasts a nice design and feels soft underfoot, but its thinness and the fact that it moves around a bit may not make it suitable for high-traffic areas. This rug's pattern is perfect for one of the bedrooms that currently have cream walls and curtains with a cream colored background. This area rug sits right off of the bed between the door and the bedroom which provides a nice base and warmth to your feet once you get off the bed. I suspect it's due to the rug being so thin, but mine shifts and slips quite easily on the concrete surface of my sun-room. And its far from a thick or weighty rug, so if you're expecting as much, look elsewhere. Still, for what it is, I think it's absolutely gorgeous. And I'm very happy with the resulting look. The list price of $90 would probably upset me if it didn't look so good. After all, for that price, I'd expect something with a bit of heft. As it stands though, I'd recommend this to most shoppers who are expecting a lightweight rug they may have to pad out with an anti-slip material or tape. ... show more

The rug is solidly as advertised. It's quite large, more than large enough for the small desk and computer chair I'm currently using. It's staying in place quite well, and after the first day or two the bumps caused by its fold in transit smoothed themselves out. It seems durable so far--no tearing or visible wear from having a hefty computer chair and its occupant rolled over it for several hours a day--and the pattern is visually neutral enough to fit with most modern decor. I have only two slight problems with it: first, the rubber padding on the bottom is slicker than the last area rug I used, which makes me concerned that it may scoot itself around even with heavy furniture on it. Second, it has a much smoother and less plush surface than the last area rug, which makes it moderately less comfortable to walk or rest one's feet on. All in all, 4/5 stars. ... show more
