DO NOT BUY THIS. Under NO circumstances should you even consider buying this. I needed to replace the oil cooler on my 2016 Wrangler JKU, and I had a limited amount of time to swap it out for the OEM part that was leaking. The Dorman cooler would arrive too late as I had a trip to make, so I bought this one, as it had mostly good reviews. HUGE MISTAKE. Three days after the install I noticed oil dripping, but assumed it was residual oil from a PCV valve I also replaced. Left the following day for a 500 mile trip. 100 miles from my destination I stopped for gas; underside of the vehicle was coated with oil; rear axle and right rear shock were soaked, rear bumper was splattered with oil and interior of right rear wheel was soaked. I had to add two quarts of oil to make it the rest of the way. Being 500 miles from home with no tools I had to find a mechanic to sort it out. I thought it might be the rear main seal since I had just replaced the oil cooler. He checked it out thoroughly - the leak was coming from the seals that secure the cooler to the lower manifold (not the cylinder seals, the circular ones). He changed those out, and the leak did not go away. The unit itself - the aluminum casting - was defective. No cracks, but the shape of the part. $800 and four days later (with a Dorman cooler) I was back on the road. DO NOT BUY THIS PART. You've been warned. ... show more

2019 Dodge Grand Caravan- 3.6L pentastar Functioned as intended, all gaskets were present and were good quality. The metal cap covering the oil filter itself seemed the threads were not fully cast leading to debris and very difficult cap removal. After some filing down I got it to work. All bolts were identical to OEM. The sensors that came with this unit did NOT fit the Grand Caravan. I had removed the OEM sensors from the old housing and fit them into this one without issues. 5,000 miles later with this new housing, no leaks, running like a champ! ... show more
