The media could not be loaded. LED headlights can illuminate dark roadways 25% farther than their halogen counterparts, and high-beam settings on LEDs offer a significant improvement over low-beam setting. With this in mind, I thought it was the time to upgrade my 2008 Honda Civics’ lights with some good LEDs. I found this kit on Amazon which had the perfect set of LED lights, compatible with 9005 type connectors my car has, and also comes with the complete set of four lights needed to replace everything. Another good thing about this kit was the fact that it comes with all four LED bulbs with the right sizes, needed to replace mine. The 2008 Civic has different sizes lights, depending if you are replacing the Daylight Running Lights (DRL), or the low beam ones. Note that the 2008 Honda Civic uses the Daylight Running Lights as high beam as well. The DRL will turn off when you turn on the low beam lights, and then will turn on again when you activate the high beam. Installation was straightforward, even if a little annoying since I had to remove the battery and coolant reservoir to replace the driver side lights, AND remove the wheel plastic cover to replace the passenger side. But depending on your car, replacement of your lights maybe easier than me. Those LEDs are indeed very bright and clear compared to my old halogen bulbs. I can see stuff on the road now that I never noticed before. So, very happy with those. Things to keep in mind though when considering installing those are the following: - There are four LEDs in this kit. Two of them will be smaller than the others. Be sure to compare them with the old ones you’re replacing to use the right sized ones in their right place. - When replacing halogen bulbs (especially on an old car) with LEDs, they may not draw enough current and thus, you may have the DRL warning light flashing on your dashboard, since the car computer will think there is a problem with those lights. Easy fix was to purchase a Headlight Bulbs Resistor Decoders Error Free Conversion Kit that I found on Amazon, and that fixed the DRL issue right away.

The media could not be loaded. My DRL now is fashing all the time for what I saw in YouTube now I need to purchase a connector to send a signal to the ecm to turn off the flashing, no good the ones I had before didn’t have this issue is very annoying

Bought these 11/1/22 delivered 11/3/22 installed 11/6/22 not even 5 months and the drivers side low beam is blown out.. 😔 was wondering while they worked but ridiculous that I have to buy again 😭
