These were installed in a 2007 Pontiac Solstice for reverse lights and they are a HUGE improvement over the stock incandescent bulbs. Now the bad news, there must be just enough current 'leaking' through that the bulbs have a noticeable glow at night even when they're off. I ordered a set of resistors like the ones for turn signal LEDs which I'm sure will take care of the glow. ... show more

I replaced the stock 3157 reverse lights in a 2005 Yukon XL. These are much brighter. Replacement is a 5-minute job if you can use a Phillips head screwdriver. They fit the OEM sockets perfectly. I installed them a year ago and have had no issues. When installed as a reverse light these do not require the separate load resistor needed when replacing older incandescent turn signal bulbs with an LED. There may be brighter alternatives but I'm satisfied with these. ... show more

Based on craftsmanship, feel, and LED performance these lamps felt like a great buy. They are a great fit for our stock headlamp assembly as a DRL. Unfortunately, the left side DRL lamp assembly failed with just under ~ 50 hours of use.
