ok, so some of you may think I am a little crazy but here goes. I ordered these 90 degree clamps, positioning squares set of 12 to use in my craft shop. I am currently working with stained glass, and I have had several projects that has required me to square them up, and it has been difficult to make that happen with just a measuring tape and eyeball method. This is just what I needed to help me get that perfect square. I will also share this set with my husband to use in his woodworking hobbies as well. He has made me several picture frames and this set will help ensure they are squared correctly. This set includes various sizes allowing flexibility in clamping different material thicknesses. The clamps can hold wood, metal, and plastics. I won't be using the clamps when I use them in my stained glass projects. this set is very well made and looks like they will last us a lifetime. You can use this set for lots of different projects. I think my husband and I will get a lot of use out of this set for years to come. I highly recommend.

It's nice that this set comes together in a case. I don't know if the case would survive a four-foot drop, but it should last fine if not mistreated. The clamps are also a nice addition and work well for applications that do not require significant force or compression. The squares themselves are made of what appears to be a fairly stable plastic. They do not flex under the level of pressure needed to hold a cabinet or frame square during glue-up. The front and back faces of the squares (in all three sizes) are flat and parallel to each other. They are not, however, in perfect vertical alignment with each other. Suppose we lay one square down flat on the table, then designate the legs as X and Y axes. We will find that X and Y are perpendicular to each other, properly square for purposes of woodworking (though a far cry from a machinist's square). The side walls of the square, which would be on the Z axis coming up from the table, are not perpendicular to X and Y. Nor are the side walls properly flat. Those surfaces will need to be flattened and squared to the front and back if you want to use the square for any fine work. Otherwise, the squares are sufficient for holding the corners of boxes or frames. The outside corner of each square is chamfered off, while the inside corner has a cylindrical cutout. This ensures that wood being glued will meet squarely. That also provides space for glue to squeeze out without getting all over the square, although I think most glue will not adhere to this plastic anyway. Overall, they work pretty well for basic carpentry and they can be refined to work in fine woodworking applications.

This is a great set with a lot of features and sizes. Also really like that it came with a case which is a shortcoming of some of the aluminum sets. These are perfectly square and have a good measure scale on the legs of each one, as well as the chamfers to help avoid dust knocking you out of square. Nice dense plastic doesn't feel like it would break if dropped. Overall impressive kit.

This set includes 3 sizes of 4 corner clamps and 8 clamping screws. Enough to use one size at a time. The included case is a bit tight to get everything back in, I wish it would have been designed to allow the screw parts to stay screwed together while in the case which would make it more convenient. Having to untread all the knobs after every use to utilize the case. I checked all 12 pieces against my known good squares and they are all exact. They're plastic, but firm, and don't flex out of square with as much force as I dared apply to a plastic part. Overall a good set to have int eh shop.

Nice kit for large and small projects. I usually am working on projects by myself and this kit is like having extra hands to hold corners together for fastening. Very handy! One small issue is that it's a little tricky to fit everything back in the case for storage. The clamp kit is as described and pictured on Amazon - 5 Stars from me.
