These are great they are made of polyester. I hadn’t realized that there was such a difference between nylon and polyester. I definitely know I prefer polyester because of the look and feel.

Impressed with the quality of these tights. I've also bought the 90 Degree high waist power flex legging so I'll compare the two here. For reference I am 5'3" 126lbs, carry most of my weight in my bum/thighs, with small waist. I have to make tradeoffs with tights either fitting my butt or my waist Reflex High Waist Squat Proof Ankle Length Interlink Leggings (XS) Pros: Sweat wicking, smooth, seamless, thin but not enough to see panties, they are definitely squat proof. I sized down in these tights as per other customer suggestion for higher compression and am glad I did. These are a lot like the Lululemon Fast and Free with respect to material, compression, and shape. Perfect length to fit my 5'3" short leg body as a full length even though I'm sure it would be 7/8 on a taller person. Con: Color selection is minimal ( Gray, Black, Blue). I got Blue and its really vibrant, just wish it had the variety that the full length version offers. The top band has a thin elastic that cuts a little into my waist. wish this band was a bit thicker but the issue isn't really that big of an issue. No pockets :( Performance: Squat proof, high compression, slightly cooling, ideal for HIIT workouts or situations where you would sweat a lot. I use this for Hot yoga ( CorePower), boxing, and running outdoors. Highly recommend Reflex High waist power flex legging (S) Pros: Thick, soft, medium compression, comfortable fit. These are definitely more like Lululemon Align or Athleta salutation tight with similar sizing. I would stick to your true to size if you want a comfortable fit. Cons: Way too long for me, it even covers my whole foot and then some. its like a full 10in longer than it needs to be. If there is an Ankle length version I'd go with that. Its also not as buttery soft as the Athleta/ Lululemon ones. Not sweat wicking as it feels almost like cotton. Lighter colors ( I got tainted rose) shows sweat quite easily so stick to darker colors. Way too warm to do anything cardio related. I did have waist gap with these but it was to be expected with the (S) size. its the same situation as my Athleta tights. Performance: Ideal for lounging or slow paced Yoga. I tried boxing in these and it was a disgusting wet situation. Overall, pretty good quality for the price and would recommend both. I would choose which one based on the activities you plan to do. Even though I own a couple higher end tights, these 90 deg Relfex ones are used in equal frequency. ... show more

Came back to my faithful Amazon to look at new workout gear once I realized all the popular brands were $60+ for one pair of leggings (I haven't had to replace my gear for a few years, I must've been frivolous with my money back then) I do a variety of workouts --barre, yoga, weightlifting, running, spinning etc and it drives me nuts when my leggings continuously slide down while moving or are see-through. These leggings are GREAT. They are thick yet do not make you feel like you're overheating, so that you cannot see your underwear etc. I didn't have to pull them up during the entire duration of my workouts and the tummy slimming feature keeps them in place. The fabric is perfect, I would compare to a mix between cotton and spandex. I was worried they would be the slippery/shiny type of material that I do not like, but they were the best combo. Price point can't be beat -I will be buying many more pairs going forward. For size reference I am 5'4, 135lbs and I bought a SMALL based on the reviews before me. I was skeptical because I NEVER buy a small for my bottom half, I am muscular and have hips and a butt so I usually stick with a medium but these fit me. They looked tiny when I pulled them out of the package and I was skeptical but they stretch very comfortably and I was very pleased with how they fit me. These would not be lounge leggings for me however, very comfy for exercise but wouldn't want to wear while laying on the couch (I wouldn't lounge in any leggings to be clear). Hopefully this helps.     • Matte lycra, more spandex than cotton -- surprised how much I like them!
I was looking for a review to help me understand what the material and finish was like. Now that I ordered these, I want to leave a review with more details about the finish on the leggings. I have ordered multiple pairs of 90 degree leggings in the past, but they were a discontinued style. I was looking for the same thing that I love, which is a matte legging with less spandex and more cotton for casual, everyday wear. These leggings are not that. HOWEVER, I am enjoying them more than I thought. They fit well and are not see-through. They have more of a smoothing effect for less obvious panty lines. They have more of a matte finish, which I like. They aren't as breathable as I was hoping for, but they don't attract lint or pet hair nearly as much as the more cotton-based version I own. I'm still getting used to them for casual wear. They're perfect for the gym. I will probably order them again. ... show more
