These have been very good and they are so tiny! I gave friends some to put in their cars after a recent ice storm that left many unready for days of frigid cold, bad drivers, too few salt trucks, and no electricity. I also cut up 2 to wrap the insides of 2 cat houses, one bought and one made. The houses have plastic walls/ceilings, then I gorilla taped/glued thick styrofoam pieces on every surface, then taped these emergency blankets tightly on every side, corner, and ceiling, then I stuffed the boxes 1/2 to 3/4 full with straw and faced them away from the snow/ice/sleet. This provided warm, burrow-in shelters for very feral kitties and wildlife. ... show more

I have a couple homeless kitties that I care for and I bought these Mylar blankets to winterize their outside shelters. They work great! I have a tent and a Dog house igloo and I used these to line the bottom of them and I have a bed and a fuzzy self warming mat in their as well. They VERY thin and see through but they work and when you're in a pinch and need something to keep you warm, these will do it! ... show more

I was impressed with the size and how waterproof they are we actually got caught out in the woods just walking and a hard rain came and my husband and I had to use one of the to take cover for about 15 minutes and it is very durable and easy to use the thickness is just right I was very impressed.
