But every couple of months someone opens it anyway and gets surprised by our very stealthy 100 pound pitbull. No one has gotten hurt but apparently warnings aren’t sufficient. This is an excellent heavy-duty latch. Easy to install, but take your time with the installation to make sure the latch does what you need it to do. My wooden double gate is very secure.

Had to countersink the screw holes myself on the larger portion of the of the 2 part latch. Kinjouz offered full refund, but I had already mounted both parts to replace an older, rusting, and cheap latch. This flip latch lock for gate is very heavy duty. Very happy with overall build strength. If you order one of these units, learn from me and check to make sure all screw holes are countersunk BEFORE trying to install. Mine is mounted to a wooden gate.

This is a heavy piece of product. Very solid. Can’t find anything wrong with it. I think changes to it would include adjusting the holes for screws to accommodate carriage bolt. Other than that a definite win-win.

This is a Awsome gate latch/lock I usually don't leave a review but I was having a really hard time getting a lock latch for my 6 foot plastic gate kept on coming on latched I got this and problem solved. In fact I bought another one so I give it five stars.
