I read all the reviews prior to purchasing this pillow. It joined the ranks of the other 6 pillows on my bed. I have tried all different kinds, materials, density, loft. When I took this out of the package, I expected it to be loftier. I let it expand about 30 hours then tried it and I was NOT disappointed. I have been dealing with a lot of neck and back issues for quite some time. I attributed it to aging, prior car accident and the fact I clinch my teeth in my sleep. I was hoping for some relief but what I got was ZERO pain. ZERO. Even my lower back pain is gone. IN ONE NIGHT. I know everyone is different and what works for me may not work for everyone but if there is a chance that buying this pillow will eliminate your pain, I hope you try it. I am sooo happy I did. This is an honest review. I paid full price and receive nothing for this. Just wanted to spread the word in the hopes others can find some relief. ... show more

I love the shape of the pillow and that it has a low size for sleeping on my stomach as well as a higher side for side sleeping (most often I'm a side sleeper) Honestly fixed my neck pain in a matter of a few days. I've been a dog groomer for 9.5 years and have had issues on and off. This is amazing I seen a review about weird sleep positions and how great this was and had to try... I'm just amazed it really worked for the price. I've bought much more expensive pillows of all types this is by far the best. Only con is the arm support/ rest is not very wide at all . The picture makes it look wide but my arm falls off the edge when side sleeping (no im not a huge person) it's just not as big as advertised so if they ever correct this or make it wider I'd be very excited. I’m typically a side sleeper. I usually have a hard time finding a pillow that works for me, as if they’re too fluffy I’ll get a headache/neck ache, and if they’re too flat I need to bunch them up in order to make them supportive enough. I decided to give this pillow a try, and I’m glad that I did. The first time I tried it I did start to get some neck pain, but this resolved once I removed the extra padding. It did take me a few nights to get accustomed to the new shape, but now I find it extremely comfortable and supportive. It’s the Goldy Locks pillow for me: not too fluffy, not too flat, comfortable and supportive. I noticed recently when I stayed over at someone’s house that I struggled with the pillow I was provided the way I used to. I don’t need to worry about that with this pillow, and may decide to bring it with me on trips. ... show more

I had been using a Purple pillow for a few months, but I found it started to sink down a little, which was very disappointing for the price (I paid around $200 for it! You can see it in the background in my pics). I was having still neck pain and finding it hard to sleep-- even a half-inch difference is huge when it comes to side sleeping. So I went through Reddit suggestions for different pillows and came across this one. I had my doubts because of the price and the weird shape, but I'm a weird sleeper, so I gave it a try. It inflated well out of the bag, and a queen size pillow case covers it fine (see pics). At first, I slept on it the wrong way (with the taller end at my neck-- I thought it would help because the purple pillow had been too short), but after I flipped it around and went at it from the other way (sloping down, nestled into the center), the pain was immediately gone. Even if I have to replace it every 6 months, it'll be more economical than buying a $200 pillow that needs replacing at the same rate! I'm very pleased. It also doesn't get too hot for me (a problem with a lot of memory foam pillows, and also why I went for a purple one before), and seems to keep its shape well. The only thing with the shape was that I don't sleep like the person in the picture (laying on one side, with that arm somehow bent down and then back up to lay in the nice little crevice that's built into the pillow), I stick my arm straight out from my body on the side I've laid down on, to support my head. Surprisingly, the height differential this makes doesn't impact my neck, back, or sleep. I do often wake up on my back now, which I don't mind, because it doesn't hurt!). TLDR; I sleep weirdly and usually painfully, but this pillow has fixed that and I have no regrets. Buy it. ... show more

I've had trouble with my neck for years and years. I've been having trouble getting my pillow to support it the way I need, so I decided it was time for a new one. I saw this one and read the review where someone said it's a weird looking pillow but they're a weird sleeper, and this pillow is amazing. So I went ahead and got it. I am SO GLAD. I've never had a pillow feel this comfortable, I would wake up, roll over, and go right back to sleep. My neck feels so much better, after just one night. And it's a lot lighter than my old memory foam pillow, which will make it a lot easier to travel with. No way am I going a night without this pillow again. ... show more

I only received this pillow one day ago, but so far can say this is a very smart design. The arm rest areas are not nearly as wide as shown in the photo ads, but the neck level is great, and I could find a number of comfortable positions with it. I do not sleep flat on my back but I was very comfortable using this pillow as I lay flat to read before falling asleep. I don't care for the fabric of the covering but covered with a fine cotton pillowcase, the pillow remained cool and comfortable all night long. And there is no discernible odor or off gassing.
