These are good quality for the price. You'll probably have to shorten them/ grind them down. I had to cut off 1/4 inch. I used these on a custom,scratch built JS2400 copy. I'll buy again in the future.I'll post pics as soon as I'm done with the build.

I used these for a DIY bass with all black hardware. As I stated in the headline, do not use a drill to install. I broke 2 screw heads off leaving screw shafts in my bass body and neck. Thank goodness for a father in law with a milling machine, he helped me cut them out without ruining the neck.

These ferrules were VERY rough cut and have NO chrome plating, look to be bare metal. The countersink is so rough you can see and feel the deep grooves. On top of that the supplied screws will not fit through the holes of the ferrules. The photos are after I re-drilled the holes before I decided to write a review. Granted these were relatively cheap but I never expected them to be this bad. I will not buy from these folks again if this is their expected quality. The screws will not fit through the inserts/washers provided. The screws themselves seem fine, but nothing special. Since the inserts don’t work, you could get equivalent wood screws for cheaper elsewhere.
