I installed a valved exhaust on my genisis coupe, it was my first time welding and this pipes worked great. One side is pre-streched to fit over the other pipe by a few inches. It's thick enough so that it doesn't burn through too easily when welding. Comes coated in a protective oil. Looking under my car I can see some light rust so be sure you leave that on accept for where your welding. ... show more

    • Great starter exhaust tubing kit for DIY work
Size: 8 pcs 2.5-Inch Exhaust Pipe
This is a solid exhaust pipe kit if you’re doing your own custom exhaust work and want a decent pile of 2.5" tubing to start with. The bends and straight sections give you enough variety to mock things up without running back and forth to buy single pieces, and the 16-gauge wall thickness feels appropriate for a mild steel setup. The bends are clean and consistent, and everything I received was round and usable without odd dents or crushed ends. You’ll still want to take your time measuring and tacking before final welding (that’s just custom exhaust life), but the pieces are straightforward to work with and made the whole process quicker. If you’ve got a welder and you like building things instead of paying shop labor, this kit is a good value. It’s exactly what it claims to be, and it gives you plenty of material to build a functional, clean-looking exhaust setup. ... show more

This kit provided everything I needed for my off-road project, and TONS of spare parts for my next project or two. This is great quality steel tube. Every piece has a bell end, so it can be easily installed without any welding, though welding the seams is better than using clamps. Good price for so much exhaust pipe.
