I use this with my unscented body wash. I soak dove unscented bars of soap in water until they liquify. Then I blend it and pour it into these bottles. I add essential oils that are good for skin. I bought these bottles for a few reasons. I use them for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. and throw away the original packaging. I have a tiny bathroom and these bottles take up less space than the original bottles of various products, partially due to the bottles all being uniform in size and shape. It also makes the bathroom look more organized and less cluttered. I also like the tall 8 oz size because I have chronic pain in my hands and these bottles are easier to hold than normal 16 oz shampoo bottles that come in various shapes and sizes. Down side: 1.) When the bottle is near empty, don't squeeze too hard to get the product out because the plastic is thin. I fear I'll crack the bottle. I will leave the bottle upside down until it is empty to avoid the need to squeeze too hard. 2.) I would prefer the color to be a darker shade of amber like other amber bottles I have. ... show more

    • Exactly What I Was Looking For
I recently broke my ankle and purchased a shower bench so I could sit in the shower. I've discovered that a 3-in-1 (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) makes it much easier for me. Instead of fumbling with a big bottle, I began looking for a smaller bottle to put the 3-in-1 in. And I ordered these. There are 6 bottles which hold about 8 oz. and they are narrow enough (2") to fit in my small hands easily. The flip-top dispenses the liquid well without having to use a cap, which would make it more difficult for me, as I only have use of one hand.     • Didn't work for me - takees strong hands to use
The bottle is rigid - it is not soft and pliable so that one can squeeze the bottle without a lot of effort to dispense the shampoo, etc. The bottle cap seemed to work fine. I don't recommend these.

These are easy to fill and the caps pretty much work but one leaked. It's a good size. I had to make sure they were packed vertically inside a quart bag. I'm not sure how long these would last, but they are inexpensive so I'm ok with that. I would try them again.

    • so good. I am filling them from larger size bottles ...
lids do screw on, but top is a flip top. so far, so good. I am filling them from larger size bottles in the shower area. Since the outside is a little dark, the black sharpie did not show well on the outside. So, I used adhesive labels.
