Good quality cable at a fair price! I needed an extra cable for my home theater as I moved to to equipment. The older stuff works fine with older cables, but this very high quality 8K capable cable went to the 4k connection. (No, I don't have 8k... yet.) It works well and seems to be of high quality. The picture carried by this cable arrives perfectly at the other end. The braided jacket slides easily instead of catching on edges, making installation that much easier.

Nice quality cable with an attractive price. The nylon braided cable is thick yet flexible, and the connectors are sturdy and robust. Helped me go from a 50 Hz refresh rate to a 60 Hz when I replaced the free cable that came with my 2K monitor.

This is a HDMI 2.1 cable. That means that this cable can handle 8K bandwidth at 60 Hz. I've tested it, it delivers on those specifications. Moreover, this cable is advertized as supporting eARC/Dynamic HDR. Most HDMI cables will not support those capabilities reliably. Again, I've tested the cable, it fully supports eARC and Dynamic HDR. Now all of that may seem like a bundh of techno babble, and I guess it is. But here is what it means. If you want to play a demanding game at high resolutions and speeds, that 8K at 60 Hz is important. It represents how much data you can push from your computer to your monitor or TV. That means that faster games will display more clearly, and with greater detail (and streaking) than with cheaper cables. That eARC is also important. If you want to use a soundbar with your TV or monitor, many good soundbars require eARC to work properly. So, yes, technobabble can be confusing and fruistraiting but it can also make the difference between equippment working well and just not working at all. Keep in mind that there are a lot of cable manufacturers out there that claim a lot of capabilities, and they don't really support them. Not only does CMSTEDCD support the capabilities it claims, it also makes a quality cable with nice value-oriented features. For example, the CMSTEDCD is covered with a braided sheath. That reduces the wear from friction on the cable, extending its life. Also, if you look closely, the connectors on the CMSTEDCD are made from metal. Most HDMI cables use plastic shells for their connectors. Because the CMSTEDCD uses metal connectors, it will also resist damage from rough treatment and heat much better than cable with plastic sonnectors. The only thing I would have likes to see on the CMSTEDCD was anti-strain boots next to the connectors. Such boots help protect the cable from breaking wires internally if you bend them at sharp angles to plug them in. Still, I think CMSTEDCD has a good cable at a good price.

Plugged it in and it works. Used it between my PlayStation and a 4k tv. There is only a short path to cover, but cable is very stiff and not easy to be bend. So check with your devices and add a few extra inches to the needed length.. 3 ft. is not very long when you need to route through cabinets or cable channels. On the other hand if path is short you can avoid loops and effort to hide the extra ft. All in all it is a cable and does what you expect from it.
