I’m giving this a 5 Star although I had to return it. I have my Xbox Series X, PS5 and switch all connected. They the switcher works fine but for the Xbox for some reason only the series X changes from 2k to 640p. I have to take the hdmi out and replying it in. Than it works at its resolution I have it. But as soon as I switch it to the other consoles and back to the series X it goes back to 640p. The reason I’m giving this 5 stars the company reached out to me with a replacement asap, they were extremely and I mean extremely supportive and caring about getting me a replacement and when the replacement was still giving me the same result they refunded me asap. I didn’t have to wait like other company’s (ASUS) and I appreciate them for it. For some reason just my Xbox doenst want to play ball with this switcher and I’ve changed all the cables several times. I also tried my other switcher (2 hdmi to 1) and it worked fine! I think this company really cares about their customers and their product and you can see from previous reviews their product works so I highly recommend them!

Mainly got this to capture video of Playstation 5 gameplay and be able to add some narration or commentary when recording. It has proved very easy to use for someone with no capture experience using the provided USB 3.0 and HDMI cabling. OBS recognized it as MiraBox Capture and it configured at 1920x1080P at 60 FPS input. The captured output was as smooth as 60Hz can get using the normal settings and there was no delay in the mirroring window on the capture computer or the 1440p 166Hz monitor being used. Confirmed with FRAPS that the captured video was 60 FPS on a PC with a RTX 3080 and Ryzen 9 5900X that can handle the load, so your results may be dependent on your rig. Be aware that the audio of the connected HDMI source is output from the 3.5mm analog stereo connector, so you'll have to use that to pipe the sound in to the computer you're using for the capture or stream. For the price category, this did what I needed it to. It seems like a good device to get started on with recording or streaming. The setup manual is helpful enough to get you going using the free OBS Studio software.

I will say I have been using it for almost 8 months now and not had one issue with it. I do love that I can tuck it away behind my equipment to make a clean look with the button only being out to toggle between everything. Well built and has been able to handle 4k like it says it will do.

Definitely a good option for those just starting out streaming and don't want to invest hundreds into streaming hardware if you streaming a HDMI system. Simple plug and play I didn't have any troubles getting OBS to work with it. Might not have all the quality thresholds some more advanced users might want, but for most folks this will work just fine.

There are a lot of options to capture online screen performances today and there are more and more people looking for a way to get started without breaking the bank. I had never tried it, so when this showed up on the Vine program I thought it was time to jump in an try. The first thing I did was to download a copy of the free open-source program called OBS, which is specifically designed for either just capturing and recording the performance or for streaming it as well on one of the many platforms. I was actually a little surprised that i was able to get OBS configured with very little hassle since I had no experience at all. Next, I followed the steps outlined in the instructions that came with the capture box and was able to connect to the box successfully. I did this first test with the 1080p mode, as I Think that is what most beginners will be doing. I'll try the 4k mode at a later date after getting a couple of cables. I was able to complete my tests successfully and was pleased with the results, especially given that I had no experience with the software or hardware. In all, I would say I spent less than an hour to get up and running. I'm giving this capture device the full five stars as I feel the value for money is hard to beat and the product worked exactly as described and with less effort than I expected.

As a member of Amazon Vine, I got this capture card for free. Even having paid nothing, I want my money back. I got this capture card a while ago, but unfortunately waited quite a while to test it. Several months after receiving the capture card, now that I was finally in a position where I could livestream, I was disappointed to see that it essentially didn't work. At first, the card half-worked in the sense that the sound and picture would come in, but the picture would intermittently freeze and cut to black. This lasted about twenty minutes before OBS crashed, and then refused to respond further to the card. Absolute failure of a product.

My kid used it once and it worked but he has not utilized it like I thought he would. He wanted to do you tube videos but was not willing to put in the work. It is a neat device hopefully this summer he will start using it more!
