  • Works, nice features
Color: Displayport KVM 2 Monitors 2PCs
KVM for 2 monitors, 2 computers, all Display Port, with USB 3.0, power supply and wired remote switcher. Switcher has sticky back to stop it sliding around. No hot key functions. Decent quality 3 ft USB 3.0 cables are included. DP cables are not. Note you cannot connect HDMI from a computer to it without an active converter cable specifically for HDMI computer to DP monitor. HDMI monitors can be connected to it however with a plain cable with the correct plugs. Has 3 switched USB inputs, with mouse and keyboard that leaves one extra to switch a thumb drive, printer, USB headset, monitor hub etc. An unusual feature is the mic/headphone analog inputs. These don't pass through to analog PC connectors, they are hosted on the USB. Nice for switching an analog headset without having more cables or needing analog jacks on the computers. Update: The speakers work on my Koss 2-plug headset, but the microphone does not. I'm not sure why, it may be plug incompatibility due to lack of standards. Another nice feature is the power supply and power switch. Many KVMs are USB/video powered. They can only be turned off by unplugging everything, and can have issues getting enough power from the computers. This one is self-powered and turns off at the switch when desired. This allows monitors to power-save without having to turn them off. It will not power from USB or video. If additional power outlets are a problem for you, I strongly suggest searching for a Superdanny outlet panel. Works as expected, no video or USB issues so far. No problem with backlit gaming keyboard which can be problematic with others. All connectors are tight. I only wish it had screw slots to mount it so it wouldn't move around. KVMs tend to be short-lived for some reason, hoping this one is different. I will update. 2.5 months in, still working. Have had a couple occasion where it lost connection to the keyboard. Power cycling corrected it. ... show more

  • Destroyed my displayport
Color: Displayport KVM 2 Monitors 2PCs
Edit: After using this for 3 weeks, I noticed that my primary display began rarely flickering and losing signal. Powering the monitor off and back on would resolve this. After using the KVM for 4 weeks, the displayport on my primary monitor no longer works, even if I bypass the KVM and connect the monitor's displayport directly to my graphics card or laptop dock. The HDMI ports on the monitor continue to work, so I've had to bypass the KVM. Given that I used the displayport on the monitor for over a year without any issues, and only had a problem after I introduced the KVM, I have to believe that the KVM introduced the problem. Original: This 2 computer, 2 monitor KVM worked great for connecting my desktop (running a GTX 4090) and Lenovo laptop (using the Thunderbolt workstation dock) to my monitors (3440x1440 & 2560x1600) with no flickering or other issues. Be aware that this KVM has no EDID emulation, so each time the displays are switched Windows won't remember the positioning of your application windows. ... show more

  • Excellent
Color: Displayport KVM 2 Monitors 4PCs
Very impressed with the quality and features of this kvm. It exceeded my expectations. Works well with my mac mini m2 and windows pc at 1440p dual monitor setup. Switching between them is very easy and fast. I love that the audio is connected via the USB so that it's not extra audio cables. No issues at all with nvidia gsync 144hz refresh rate, things feel buttery smooth. Only issue is occasional loss of sync/static on the rare occasion but I blame that on my cheap Displayport cables which I'll upgrade in the future. The box said "HD video processor" on it and I was scared I had recieved the wrong item but pleasantly surprised to find the correct 8k four pc two monitor kvm inside. Picked this up for what I feel is an amazing price for the features. Many much more expensive kvm boxes do not do what this thing does. To me it seems like the DP is a straight passthrough. My computers see the actual monitor that's attached. Only other thing I think could improve it, is having a fifth button on the remote switch box to remove signal from both monitors so that they go to sleep, and call that button "off" maybe. I wish I had found this KVM sooner. And I'm a very picky huge computer nerd so the fact that they meet my standards really shows they are making a great device. ... show more

  • Pretty good, but the audio DAC is very weak
Color: Displayport KVM 2 Monitors 2PCs
It switches displayport and USB very well, maybe a second of lag between the switch. Seems to be handling multiple USB devices just fine. The audio DAC is ok for audio out, but the microphone input is terrible. It works on some headsets that have amplifiers, but for a raw microphone input from a Sennheiser headset - it doesn't work. (Note: I have had similar issues with USB DACs before, so it's likely limited to a certain microphone type. If you normally have to have your mic gain turned up super high, this will probably not work for you.) ... show more

  • Poor Choice - Will not maintain display connections
Color: Displayport KVM 2 Monitors 4PCs
I'm a long-time KVM user as an IT professional. This device is poor and worth the $!50 I paid. PRO: The KVM is built like a rock, standard ports, decent functionality. CON: Was never able to get any smart-key switching to work (maybe not a feature); High Latency when switching between hosts - about 2 seconds; Fails to maintain monitor keep-alive signal (every time you switch, PC will repeat Plug-and-Play detection of monitors and reconfigure them as new devices - left becomes right, resolution changes, Active Primary monitor changes, and usually leaves at least one in sleep mode such that you have to manually wake-up the monitor.) And this isn't unique to the Quad-DisplayPort model, same experienced on the Quad-DP/HDMI model too, and tested with 3 different mainstream Dell and Samsung 24-inch FHD displays. Reconfigure you monitors EVERY SINGLE TIME. EVERY TIME. EVERY SINGLE TIME. But if you don't plan on switching between your 4 PCs, then, yeh, it does work. ... show more
