Love, Love, Love! I am so picky with my nets. I’m probably better “fishing” with a net than I am a pole. I’ve tried many different folding nets and thrown away 99% of them. I kept one by KastKing last year and I am absolutely keeping this one. I love that the net is rubber coated. I love that the net has a flat bottom on the metal frame and also on the net itself. The handle, extension rods and joints of the net all feel very durable. The grip area is very comfortable and feels very stable in your hand. The net is very versatile with the extension rod making it easy to use in a kayak, boat or from the shore. It’s not overly large making it awkward to fit or carry, but it’s also not too small where it can only land baitfish or panfish. This net is the perfect size offering unmatched versatility.

This is an excellent fishing net for kayak fishing. I love that it floats, and it's pretty easy to quickly set it up. It fits nicely in one of the built-in rod holders on my kayak, and should make fighting those river monsters a lot easier this summer. The net seems to be of a pretty high quality compared to others I have tried and it's nice and deep too. Great net for sure. Highly recommended.

I like the handle design, as it folds nicely away for storage, and I really love the magnetic lanyard for attaching securely to your kayak, then releasing quickly for use. The rubber-coated netting is great for keeping your hooks free from snags. While the net technically floats, I wouldn't call it buoyant. I expected the net lip to be covered in a heavy foam, but instead it's more of a neoprene that does keep it up in the water. Something to be aware of.

I ordered this landing net for my adult son who loves fishing in our local lakes from his Kayak. Space in a kayak is limited, and sometimes things get knocked overboard. A floating fishing net is a perfect solution to this problem. The 8Fans unit folds up to a compact size, yet extends easily and quickly to a full 40-inch-long net, sturdy enough for the typical bass, trout, catfish, and pan-fish in our lakes. The construction quality is excellent! I believe this should last for many years of fishing fun!

Lightweight. Floats. Folds to a compact footprint or extends up to 40 inches. The rubber coated net feels like it will last much longer than standard. Quality grip ensures no slippage when landing a big one. This is going in the saltwater kayak this season and I expect it to get a lot of use.

Out of the package, I unfolded the net and handle where it was perfect. You can extend the handle and retract the handle easily. The folding of the frame is done by sliding the top and bottom tab simultaneously. When you want to deploy the head, it's the same unlocking/locking mechanism as well. There's a slight upward angle when it's deployed but it works well knowing that it won't collapse under pressure because the pivot point stops. The handle is pretty solid and locks very well in place when extended to its full-length position. Overall, this is a really good landing net for a kayak or small boat. It's very compact in size when stowed away and large enough where you can easily land a fish while sitting or standing. This is pretty much worth it for the design as well as the size.

This is a great option for a fishing net. It’s not a super light net, but if you are using it in a boat then it’s perfect. Just not the right net for wading up a river while fly fishing. The bright colors would help it not be lost. I also like the ability to extend the pole. Super helpful. And it looks pretty cool!

The media could not be loaded. Here in Wisconsin we welcome Spring and with that comes fishing. This net is highly approved and recommended. The net is sewn to last. The frame is made from heavy gauge aluminum. It’s compact for convenience and storage, and it unfolds/folds easily. You will never want another net again. This is the one!
