I live completely off grid . This phone is amazing !!! I have two dogs and one likes to chase stuff in the woods in the dark . Camping lights so bright!! The night vision is really cool .. I just having got the never up to run through the woods just using night vision. But it is so good I could .lol. . and the projector!!! Thank you so much !! I'm getting old and eyes don't see as good on phone screens.. this projector blows most TV's away . And as I said I live off grid . The outdoors is my living room before I had to worry my tablets or "speaker projector" which is awesome too but as an all in one stand alone peice of electronics.. the 8849 (Tank 2) .lol when people ask me who makes this and what's it called they look at me funny cause I tell them the number however it is a TANK I love the weight . I drop my other phones just to keep bouncing them cause they have no weight . The TANK 2 ??? It's like catching a rectangular baseball...lol . The speaker is very good I work in a mechanic shop and it's hot fans going everywhere and I can hear it clear over all that and I'm talking watching news max .. I stared with smart phones when it had the LCD screen with back light at night. It was awesome in it time .. but the 8849 compared to the phones on the market this phone is great I could keep going but by now most have probably fallen asleep . So I say to unihertz. .. great job .. and I will say I am disappointed in the TANK 3 . The TANK 2 blows it out the water !!! . I hope more give this phone a try ...Phil

Man this thing truly is a burden. I had to buy a vest just to have a reliable pocket for the thing. Buuuuut it's a great conversation starter, I absolutely love the massive battery life, the extra bright lights are super handy, the shortcut keys get used everyday, the quality of the thing just feels very nice, and it's basically a big ole rock for beatin with. If I forgot a hammer I'd just drive a nail with this phone. The damn thing can even emulate some PS2 and GameCube games 0_0 I wish the projector was better than a novelty/emergency kind of thing, the video camera could be better but the photo camera is still pretty damn good. I've heard they fixed both of those issues with the tank 3 but the tank 3 is also the fastest and heaviest of them all, this tank 2 is the lightest and it's already a burden. The thing is snappy though and the weight isn't too bad in your hands it's just walking around that can be annoying without the right clothes on. The last time I loved a phone was when flipping open sideways to reveal a physical keyboard was the height of phone features. This thing sure has character and it gets 5 stars for being quirky and viable

Tank 2 is anything but resistant and reliable. After 4 months of use I can't listen to anything on the phone when I receive a phonecall nor can they listen to me either. The phone never fell or was hit or damaged in any way. It's not a problem in the phone's configuration but some phone parts are defective. I factory reseted the phone and it still isn't working. Be careful because 3 months after the purchase there's no more Customer Support offered by the seller, you're on your own. Hope the seller could contact me to offer a solution.

I love this phone. It is extremely heavy but that's really the only negative thing about it.it has so many great features.the projector is awesome.ive read some reviews saying you have to have phone on it's side for it to protect image horizontally but that's not true at all. You just have to have it on the landscape setting. And the picture is very clear as long as it's dark,like with any projector. The camping light is so bright and the red and blue flashing lights are great and with software update you can now use the red and blue as ambient lights also.. individually or together creating a purple lighting. Those are just a few of the stand out features in this device. It's also a great phone and has a pretty loud speaker. Paired with sound beautifier app it actually sounds pretty good for music or streaming whatever. I like this phone so much that Im about to buy the mini tank just for when I'm traveling light. ill post my review on that soon
