I have been wanting one of these for a while. Of course I love having more power tools :) and power equipment is more fun than old school brushes and rollers. However, there is also a practical reason to use this instead of a brush: quality of results. The last set of cabinet doors I hand-painted came out just OK. I know this paint sprayer is going to improve my finish appearance. Unpacking the unit, I found it to be well-constructed. It would definitely survive an accidental drop or two. The unit comes apart into two main pieces for compact storage; a locking tab keeps it from inadvertantly splitting during use. The pieces fit together as designed (e.g. threads match up smoothly) and readily come apart with minimal effort. The unit comes with multiple additional spray nozzles plus paint filters and a filler cup to ensure you don't overfill the paint resevoir. I'm pleased with the quality. I have an upcoming paint project and am looking forward to using the sprayer. I will be editing this review to add the results from that once completed.

Nice spray gun. These type of hvlp sprayers are great for smaller jobs, like one I had to do recently. Needed to repaint some of the garage after a little accident. Once it’s dialed in, it puts out a nice fan. I used the second biggest tip for spraying some latex paint. Once the pressure was adjusted right, spraying some cardboard from about a foot away, I got to work. Since it’s a high volume, low pressure sprayer, there’s not a ton of overspray like when using an airless sprayer, or hplv sprayer. In my case, no need to dilute, sprayed well. What’s nice about this sprayer is the way it comes apart. The fan portion can come off and the rest of it can pretty much go in a soapy tub of water to clean. Pretty smart design. Good sprayer and a good price. Easy to use. Will update after further use. More projects coming up!

I have a HVLP I purchased at a big box retailer, this one isn't too far off from being similar. Attachments are simple to swap and handle being soaked in Acetone cleaner for a length of time with no noticeable effects. Handled undiluted car primer with no issues and the spray coverage is decent and fairly consistent. I do wish it had a case, or at least a bag for the nozzles, but I guess Ziploc will do. Overall, not a bad option if you're looking for an HVLP sprayer. Really helps to reduce working time when you have a lot needing to be painted.

I am looking forward to getting some of my rooms painted this summer, and it looks like this paint sprayer is going to be of immense help. I am going to try to do it myself, but I'm not sure if I will be able to handle it or not. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some help with assembling it!
