I have no issues with this couch. At first I tried to assemble it following the video but I found it didn't work for me so I followed the written instructions. It was obvious that I was more comfortable with written instructions, and I realized that the arms and base would have to be secured in some way during assembly to prevent the arms from misaligning. Other than that, the rest of the sofa is easy to assemble. The cushions are shrink wrapped and may cause wrinkles. I slapped them hard with the included stick and most of the wrinkles came out. I went back and took out the rest in a small steamer. Also, I like that black sofas don’t get dirty easily, and I also like black. I had to keep watching the video to differentiate which pillows were for the bottom and which were for the back. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and perfect for small spaces! There were 3 packages in total and it took 2 days for my complete order to arrive. I ordered this set for my family room. The included instructions were very easy to follow and I (a 30 year old mom of two running dogs, a golden retriever, and a Labrador) was able to put each set together in 30 minutes. I left the seat and back cushions out in the sun to fluff them up (tip: I used those big white bags to put them on while they were in the sun, luckily it was a sunny day) , they are nice and almost fluffy! My seat cushions are very sturdy after sitting in the sun (I put them together when I put the main body of the sofa together). It took me a few tries to get it right, but the backrest is firm, tight, and doesn't wobble. This is important because my puppy loves to climb on everything. The legs screw in easily and honestly I prefer wooden legs but these look good so we'll see how they hold up. They fit perfectly in our family room and comfortably accommodate the 3 of us and our two dogs. My husband is about 6 feet tall and his head did hit the armrests when he extended them, but he said they were still comfortable. And the shipping speed is super fast! I ordered these on Tuesday night and the boxes arrived on Thursday and Friday. I did have concerns about the other boxes and contacted the seller through Amazon and they responded quickly and provided tracking numbers for the remaining boxes. I really hope they stick around for a while, we’ll see! I'll try to update if anything changes, but for now, I'm very happy with how this couch turned out.🤩🤩🤩 ... show more

Yes, the padding on the bottom is just the right amount of softness, but I actually agree with that. The back cushions are comfortable and the sofa never suffers from that dreaded sag.
