I wanted a small mp3 player to play songs through my Bluetooth speaker while I used my phone to record a video. This thing is that, and more! I was surprised that I could watch YouTube videos, listen to audiobooks, and record audio with it. Unfortunately, it came with the wrong kind of charging cable (I received a micro USB B when it needs a USB C). I emailed customer service and they sent the correct cord in less than 3 days! I have yet to test the battery life. Bottom line, I like it and I think it is a good value for the price!

Everything was working well until I was trying out the USB-C cable to connect to the computer.....it didn't fit! What a disappointment. I'm returning it. *update: the manufacture reached out and proposed to send out the correct cable. I decided to return instead due to the timing of needing a music playing device.

Bought for a 7yr old little girl. Comes with MP3, headphones and SD card for memory. Best thing is the parental controls. Have to monitor the young minds and this helps so they don't see inappropriate content.

This is an ok android device to give a younger kid to play with while on a road trip or when you need to otherwise occupy them. There are a few caveats. The first is the cable it comes with is the wrong one. It comes supplied with a micro usb and not a usb c cable. Most of my devices are usb c so it's not a big deal, but if this is a gift it's a pretty big oversight. Second is the startup time for this is > 5 minutes. There's a setting in the OS that turns the device OFF if it's not being used for 5 minutes. It gets stuck in a perpetual wait at the welcome screen. I had to turn the setting to off so it wouldn't shut down the device before it fully booted. This is not like some of the other MP3 players that have a locked down OS and won't let you install software besides what came on it from the factory. This means you can have a full-ish android experience at a ~$50 price point. I like that there aren't any cameras involved in the device. I see no reason a kiddo needs that feature. It comes with 16GB of storage, but also includes a 64GB memory card which can be used as file storage or formatted to be part of the OS. There's a lot of value in this, but it is also limited. If you want a bare bones lower powered device for kids, this is an option. It would be a good media device to take working out so you don't have to worry about dropping $1000 device.

This is perfect for kids that want a device to play music and games on, but not quite old enough for a phone. It has google play, so you can install almost anything on it, but without the cellular service. My favorite part is it has a child/parent setting and I can choose what apps my 8yr old can access freely, or not at all. It also alerts me to my phone any time she wants to download something, and I can grant or deny permission from my own device. It has loud sound quality, decent video quality, and is small and light weight. PERFECT little device for younger kids or even pre-teens.

This is not an MP3 player. This is a fully functional Android device. The only thing it doesn't have is cellular service. So basically, this is perfect for kids. The smaller size may be a slight disadvantage if they want to play a lot of games only because it may be difficult on that scale. It is more than capable of handling any app out there. I think the device is smart, snappy, and very portable. So if you have a child that wants a "phone" but you don't want to provide them with an actual "phone" yet, this will fit both purpose and budget.

This product is Mae well. I’m having an issue with setting it up. It connects to WiFi easily. But the problem I’m having is it keeps saying google unavailable try again later. I haven’t been able to use it yet. Without google im unable to connect my email account. I can’t use App Store without google or YouTube music.
