Nice bags and they work well. If you don't tuck the zipper into the little pocket, it can sometimes open up a bit during the wash, but all the mesh bags I've ever tried have that same issue.

I finally decided that instead of struggling with the mesh bags I have, I bet I can find new ones on Amazon. I chose this because it's an 8 pack. They are durable, zip well, easy to store. Work great.

Previously we had purchased this Domies product - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CVRJL6H/ - but it was not available when we made this purchase. We purchased this 8-pack - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HCJK9SX - that will used by student at university. They have only been used once to date, but seem to hold up well and are as advertised. Personally, we still prefer the original Domies product we previously purchased, but the price point for these 8 bags was one of the better options we found. 4 star rating is a mix of good value and expected quality level. We also purchased this set of bags for comparison - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN7VPQZ9 The thickness of the mesh in this product feels a bit more sturdy than others we've purchased in the past, but that also means they feel a bit more stiff than others (for instance, if you ball up in your hand, it will bounce back to the rectangular shape). We have only used them twice at this point, so they may soften up a bit with continued use. Beyond the thickness and rigidity of the fabric itself, this fabric visually appears to have different permeability. Not sure that makes any difference in how well it works, but it's different than others we've tried in the past. Another distinction of this product is the metal tab of the zipper itself. There is a rubber type coating on the end of the zipper handle. This is nice for grasping and zipping, but may be difficult for some to tuck under the zipper guard at other end. We also purchased this 9-piece pack - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2TMXMB2 - but ultimately returned simply because of the bag sizes we felt would be of most use. ... show more

Not just for laundry! I purchase the large size of the freezer shock packs and these bags fit them perfectly! The bags help to protect the shock pack AND keep the sharp edges away from skin. Win/win! Hint on the bags.. if you use them as I did, slide the shock packs into the mesh bags before filling the shock pack. Super fast and easy. The zipper is a sturdy closure. I think they will work really well. Having said that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. ... show more

Love the little elastic cover over the zipper, it keeps the zipper from coming open during washing. I e used mine several times a week and they still look brand new.
