This tablet is pretty much what you'd expect for the value price point. It's not a *bad* tablet, but one you need to have realistic expectations for. Best uses are likely reading e-books and magazines, light email, etc. Setup was easy, though that has more to do with the Android OS devs than anything about the tablet. It comes with Android 11 and I'd imagine that it won't be updated to more recent iterations. Currently, that's not a big deal but it does mean that it could quickly get outmoded in a couple of years. To be fair, that's a problem with a lot of devices running earlier Android versions and not specific to this tablet. I tried playing some games on it but it choked on all but the most simplistic. That will be the case with most tablets at this price point. As long as you don't push it to do anything beyond its limited capabilities it'll be fine. If you need to buy grandma a tablet to email the grandkids, this would probably be adequate. One thing I did like--the form factor is nice. In particular, the rear of the tablet has tiny 'grooves' on it which makes it easy to grip. That's not always the case--I've had several tablets that had really glossy tablets that you were constantly afraid would fly out of your hands. I've even had a tablet or two that I needed to put skateboard grip tape on the back to keep it from being damaged. There is one thing that the description page should have highlighted but wasn't mentioned at all--it only has 2.4 Ghz wifi. I didn't realize that they even *made* this type of device without 5 Ghz. Maybe grandma can survive poking around the 'slow lane' of the Internet, but definitely something to keep in mind before purchase. It's also something that needed to be noted at least *somewhere* in the item description. Bottom line--what you'd expect for the price. ... show more
