It's a nice idea and the cats love it, however it doesn't stick very well. Because of that, it can unstick. Now, I'm assuming this information is known because the package comes also with two pins. At least my package had together with the product two pins. I'm not using the pins because a curious cat may bite it and that can be dangerous. I would add to the product information about materials where the stick side works well or not. That would help people select best product for each case.

Furniture protectors for cats

It worked out pretty good. I didn’t end up putting it on the furniture. I actually cut it and placed on the floor in front and side of sofas and our cat is scratching the rug instead of the furniture.

Definity helps with the cat NOT scratching the corners of my couch, but it doesn't stick well to itself!! It sticks WELL to the cover on the couch, not a problem, but when I cut it to form a curve to cover the corner of the couch, it doesn't stick together. That is why they include the PINS!

I bought this for my cat's old cat tree. The scratching post part was very worn out, but everything else was fine. This is a great way to replace it. It was very easy to install and it even comes with the screw in pins to hold it in place. It's very sturdy and thick enough to last a long time, but thin enough to be flexible.

This has a slight bit of padding. So the cat enjoy sitting on it. Adhesive is pretty good. We applied it to a cat pole that had wooden shelves and it sticks very well .my cat like to play on it .
