I love this rc car, I cannot believe how fast it is every time I use it, it reached 43mph on my street, which is not enough room for it too show its full potential, I'm sure it can go faster than that, batteries are great, it's rugged, it's awesome, all this power for $189.99 is a steal.

Beautiful piece of equipment. Every spec you would want. However within the first half hour after a small tumble, the suspension parts had bent, come apart and become deranged on two wheels. Freak accident perhaps but it was such a minor end over end I was shocked it had come apart so extensively. I have three other rc cars that regularly take a spill such as this and don’t even blink. It’s ONLY going to work well on a track with minor undulations and not anything more. It’s not even for the street as a minor crash like mine puts you straight out of commission. Too specialized for the average enthusiast. OR buy the $65 metal parts upgrade kit when you order it if you intend to just run it around your yard. I want so bad to have this in my little fleet. First of all this is not for kids this is race capable and probably too fast for almost all amateur adults.it goes about 45-50 mph right out the box and if you crash it hard it will break or even be in pieces. 2ndly it is a real V2 and it is fast as hell.unfortunately this buggy does not handle great.crank the steering at speed and it tends to flip and cartwheel, often damaging it. Overall - if you are skilled with rc you may enjoy this but the inexperienced may prefer the 124019 which looks just as cool and is also very powerful while being a little easier to control, drift, and tear through your front yard ... show more

I'm really impressed with this little buggy. It's extremely fast out of the box with the supplied 2s 25c batteries. I've ran it with a 3s 25c battery and this thing was absolutely bonkers to drive. I wouldn't make a habit of running it on 3s because everytime I do, I wind up having a excellent crash. I don't have a GPS speedo to test with but I would estimate 55+ mph on 3s. ... show more

This is the v2 model. I still had v1 issues with my model. There is a pretty severe lag on throttle response from transmitter to model. This is called latency. To solve the problem, you must change the radio and reciever. Easy fix but please beware. Its hit or miss, really, whether the model you receive will have this issue. I installed a cheap $20 turbo racing two channel radio system, and it works perfectly. Other than that, the model seems well made and looks cool. Its actually pretty fast. ... show more
