The original foam insulation on my A/C cold line was splitting and falling apart because its adhesive had given way. I stumbled across this product and decided to try it as a fix. I'm very glad I did. It's made of a very strong, durable material, but it was still easy to install. The best part is that it uses zip ties, which will provide a much more secure and long-lasting hold than the original adhesive. I was even able to leave the old, damaged foam in place and just wrap this new cover right over it, which adds even more insulation. I had previously tried another brand that used hook-and-loop straps, but it didn't include enough of them to do the job properly. This product, however, comes with plenty of zip ties. This is just an all-around better solution and a huge step up from the standard foam insulation.

This DBIGQ HVAC line set cover is a solid addition to my central ac setup! The 72-inch length fits my outdoor copper lines perfectly, and the 10.2-inch width wraps both pipes and the drain hose with ease. The 600D Oxford fabric is tough, holding up against rain and sun without any wear. The 3-layer design, with its aluminum foil inner layer, keeps condensation at bay and boosts my AC’s efficiency. Installation was quick thanks to the Velcro fasteners. My only gripe: the included zip ties were thin and small, so I had to daisy-chain two together for a secure fit. For $19 on Amazon, it’s still a great, code-compliant buy that’s saving me on energy costs. Recommend grabbing sturdier zip ties separately

Outstanding Pipe Insulation—Easy to Install and Built to Last! I am extremely impressed with this outdoor pipe insulation. It worked perfectly on my AC lines and I immediately started thinking of other uses for it, like those pipes in my old house that used to freeze every winter. I really wish I had found this sooner! The exterior material is rugged and clearly designed to withstand the elements. The thermal padding inside is substantial, providing great insulation. It was super easy to wrap around my AC lines and secure with zip ties. If you need reliable, durable outdoor insulation, this is the one to get.

I used this insulation fabric to patch up the pipe insulation of my AC because it was starting to wear out. The installation was very easy. You can cut the fabric with regular household scissors. Even the edges of the fabric did not fray. We'll see if they still look good after their first winter.. I would normally use the foam insulation but the foam is very hard to work with in tight places. This fabric has no temperature rating which is a bit suspect. I've put 3 layers around my pipes. If you have the space and if your pipes are relatively straight, I'd recommend the foam insulation instead.

This comes with the insulation and a generous amount of cable ties. The material is thick, durable and tough. It seems well suited for standing up to the outdoor elements. The hook and loop seal is very strong and seals securely. The insulation is sized to where you can wrap the a/c pipe a few times. The length was just right for my a/c pipe, too. I am very pleased with the quality and durability of this insulation. It sealed the pipe nicely and should last for many, many years.

This was a great replacement for the foam that was on our outside unit, the velcro enclosure is strong, it was long enough to double it up on the line. Just wrap your line and in a few minutes you have it easily installed, works well.
