Product is well made, roomy, sturdy and holds quite alot of weight. Bought 3 of them and was able to maneuver the shelvings to give me 4 joint shelf columns as I had larger boxes. The assembly was a bit tricky with the instructions especially at the 9 hole alignment portion but after you do 1, you get a hang of it. Took about 3 hours to assemble all the 3 shelves I bought. Worth the money! Looks great too!

They are a little bit difficult to put together- one person can do it but having two is much easier. This is just a minor inconvenience. They are sturdy- my confidence is high that these will hold a lot of weight. When I opened the container I had some initial concerns that the shelves were too scrunched for taller plastic tubs, but I learned that these fears were unfounded once I put it all together. The unit is very square and plumb once you assemble it right. If it is not square and plumb, then you probably put it together wrong. (Check the spacing of the side horizontal and diagonal bars) The assembly directions are slightly unclear on the spacing of the side horizontal and diagonal bars- these are there for sturdiness and have nothing to do with shelf spacing. When it says that a top/botton side horizontal bar needs to be nine holes distant from a middle horizontal bar, it means that there should be nine holes in between them, not nine holes away. Don't mess with the spacing of the side horizontal and bars- do exactly what it says. Follow the damn directions. The front and back horizontal bars are for the shelf spacing- for these you can experiment with how high or low they need to be, but they WILL space evenly and you should have plenty of room. For mine, I placed the top shelf on the very highest notch, and the lowest shelf on the very lowest notch, and the middle two shelves were able to space evenly in between. One nice thing is that you can put an exceptionally tall item on a lower shelf without too much trouble- the shelves have four flat panels each and some can be removed in special circumstances to make things fit if you need to.

This is a shelving unit, made from medium thickness metal but once assembled it is stable and sturdy and holds heavy things without a problem. The directions are quite good, but some places lack detail, so you have to pay attention. It took me, a 71 yr old woman, about 1 1/2 hours to assemble it. There are bolts that tighten and all the tools you need are provided. I like the fact it has panels that make the shelf bottoms solid. I'm happy with my purchase. It is perfect for basement or garage storage. I like the width and depth of the shelves because you can get 4 large plastic storage bins on each shelf. The shelves are adjustable, so I checked my spacing to make sure the boxes would fit, before I tightened everything. My basement is so much more organized now.

Putting together these shelves was a bit of a frustrating experience. Trying to assemble per diagrams and instructions did not work. Using instruction holes to screw side cross brasses caused them to sit cockeyed. Had another set of eyes come and see what we were missing. Figured out that moving top brace on both side panels up a notch and then using different notches for cross braces as well allowed those side stands to sit straight and level. Also, this manufacture needs to offer a customer service phone number with their product. Once we solved this problem the shelves came together easily, and we are happy with the shelves, good quality and sturdy.

Was going to give it 4 stars. One of the cross bars was manufactured with two left retaining brackets welded on ether side. Would not slide in and lock. Made it work. Other than that nice racks for what I need. Good for price.

I brought this to replace an older dyi shelve in order to have more room. While I wish the height was larger, overall, I'm happy with it. It was easy to put together by myself. and adjusting the shelves is easy which I appreciate. And while I might not test the rated weight limit, I love how sturdy it is after everything came together.

These are great. I had a small manufacturing problem with one of the four I ordered, and customer service was very fast to respond and get the problem fixed. They go up pretty easily once you know what you're doing. I've got a few hundred pounds of stuff on each set and they hold it without issue. I have tied multiple together in one long shelving system since each vertical supports shelves coming off both directions, which makes my garage look a whole lot cleaner/nicer. Also, didn't realize how much I would care about having solid shelves instead of grates. :chefskiss:
