Im very impressed w this little dome. Its a much nicer, thicker plastic than im used to with clone domes. Itll fit trays for about 12 clones/seedlings at a time. Perfect for when you dont take 50 cuttings at a time to fill a full sized dome. Edit: Ive used this tray for several cloning sessions. I do still stand by the construction of the item. I wont change my rating because the item is true to the description, but ive found the dome to be just a little too short. Ive built it up with cardboard and foil to make it taller. So if youre using it for seedlings and small clones its great. For taller clones, not so great. ... show more

I filled this with rehydrated sphagnum moss and put cuttings from my string of hearts and string of turtles. The single hydration holds retains enough water to grow the plants for a month and then they are ready for a pot. It’s sturdy enough it feels like it would last for life. For the price, the plastic material of the bottom tray was thinner than expected. The bottom would not sit flat because the bottom was slightly warped, so some cups inside would topple over with a slight tip. The height is also too short. Small to medium size cuttings barely fit, and seedlings won't fit inside long after sprouting. Lastly, the air vent blocks light from reaching some seedlings in the box because the height is so low and opaque. Overall, this still works as a propagation station but does not match quality expectations given the really high price. I was hoping to use this as a permanent humidity station for seedlings and small cuttings, but I'll likely switch to the cheaper 'disposable' trays. Otherwise, I really liked the small surface area this occupies and the thickness of the upper lid. ... show more

I have been putting off buying products like these, instead using those aluminum food containers w/ lids, but these are so much better. For one, they are very sturdy so I expect them to last awhile. Also, I can regulate the moisture better. I'm just very pleased with this purchase.

I used this to germinate seedlings and loved it. It's definitely a keeper. I set it on top of a heating to keep my seedlings nice and toasty and it worked very well. The plastic is thick and sturdy and the whole thing is well made. I really loved the vent on the top to control the humidity inside and get a little fresh air in there. The top fits very well onto the bottom and the vent slides easily. I'll be using this for my seedlings from now on and would definitely buy this again. ... show more

This is a fantastic little propagator. It's heavyweight plastic - not a heavy flexible plastic, but a rigid plastic that is quite durable. I've been using this to root cuttings from hot peppers which is a notoriously slow process. After 6 months of near 24/ light the plastic hasn't yellowed or cracked.
