Overall a great bargain. We bought it because we have a very wide JBL soundbar, and this is the only fireplace tv stand that would fit it underneath the top of the cabinet. The downsides: it is made with cheap particle board; I would never want to move it without disassembling it because I am pretty sure it would fall apart; it took 3-4 hours to assemble, and that was someone who has assembled many pieces of IKEA furniture, which is basically the blueprint for this one, except the instructions for this one are bordering on incomprehensible; and like other say, have a vaccum cleaner nearby because tiny pieces of Styrofoam will go everywhere. The upside: if you are patient and study and understand the instructions, it is not too difficult to assemble and once assembled it looks and works great. Like you are wondering how they can sell it for a couple hundred bucks. I expected the fireplace to look cheesy, but it is actually kind of cool, and soothing. We use it in a sunroom that is hard to heat, so the built in heater will be put to use. The LED lights for the shelves are a nice touch, kind of tricky to install though, and you need a USB block to plug them into. There were literally hundreds of pieces of hardware, and not a single piece to spare.

I love this unit! Was not difficult to assemble, but I despise the styrofoam (polystyrene) everywhere! I wish it had more fake logs for the size. I live the 3D shape and the way it cycles through the colors or you can set it to the color you want. The heater part is fine but we never use it. (AZ living!). Overall, it’s great except the LEDs cabinet lights do not work. Really good looking.

Poor quality for what you pay pieces don’t fit together. It literally takes FOREVER to assemble I’m still not done. I would have returned it if it wasn’t so heavy. The shipping company they use is horrible my box was beaten up pieces of the cheap wood were chipped and cracked so disappointed . Save your money

I ordered the fireplace in the brown color. It is beautiful, looks exactly like the picture. It was very messy to open, literally broken little pieces of stryofoam everywhere so we had to use a shop vac to get it off each and every piece of wood to try to minimize the mess. Even though it had all of that styrofoam, it came with several broken and chipped pieces of wood. One of the LED lights for the cabinets did not work and the remote control to the LED lights came in so bent that it is not useable. Luckily the pieces that are broken or chipped we were able to hide somewhat. The seller was great though, answered immediately and offered to send another light strip and offered a partial refund if I wanted to keep the fireplace. The light strip can be controlled through an app so the broken LED remote isn't a big deal to me. The remote to the fireplace is very well made. My fiance was able to assemble the fireplace in about 3 and a half hours. Pretty straightforward. You will need another person to help you in some of the assembly, especially when inserting the glass fireplace piece. The only complaint I really have besides the damaged pieces is the long middle section doesn't have a hole in the back so you can thread wires through the back. We used that part to put our sound bar in (which fits perfectly) and we had to cut out our own hole so the wires would thread through the back. It's weird because you would think someone would put a blue ray player or some type of gaming console or sound bar in that part but it looks like it was just made for knick nacks or something. The size is perfect for our space. It is a little shorter than I thought it would be but it's actually perfect when you have your TV on a mount (the measurements listed on the picture is accurate, so that was on me). The laminate is paper thin so you do want to be extremely careful when putting it together and when cleaning near it. It would definitely chip/scratch if you hit it with a vacuum. The fireplace (the actual fireplace unit) itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has beautiful color options and I love that you can see the colors and the "fire" from any angle, thanks to the 3 sided glass. It puts out very high heat if you turn the heater on and it heats up quick! It will take the chill out of my open living room and it would definitely keep an apartment or small room warm. The drawers are a nice touch. They open and close with ease. I do recommend getting a different light strip for inside of the cabinet because the one strip that did work, we installed and you can barely see the light on any color setting. It doesn't light up the inside of the cabinet the way the picture showed. The shelves inside the cabinet are adjustable. We put our modem in the bottom right cabinet and had to move the shelf up higher because it started to overheat the way we tried to conceal it. We had to add another hole in the back to get air to flow. Overall I am happy with it. I purchased it on sale which I am glad I did because I don't think it would have been worth it if it was priced any higher. Im split on recommending so this is my thoughts........I would recommend if you are looking for a cheaper option to upgrade your space. It is definitely worth it assuming it is under $250. It is sturdy/heavy and will last for years with careful care. However since the laminate is thin, if you aren't careful it will scratch easy. So it's one of those things where you get what you pay for. You need to decide whether you will want to save money and treat it with care so it will stay looking beautiful for a long time. Or, you can decide to spend more money upfront and get something that is better quality
