As others have stated, there was some scuffing and damage to the frame and shelves on my unit so i removed 1 star. As far as why it was rated a 3, I'll get to that. I don't expect clear and concise instructions when I order items imported from China that require assembly, but these were hot garbage. (see images). They would have been much better had they used drawings rather than underexposed photographs. I get that there are things lost in translation, but a couple of items gave me a chuckle. For example, "Hairstyle" was Modern Simplicity? And for safety reasons, I HIGHLY suggest that you skip step 9 entirely. (see images). Ok so all that frivolity aside, was it worth the price I paid? For utility, yes. This rack cleaned up my work area and organized my AV equipment nicely. For the build quality and ease of assembly, No. It does the job it's created for, so If you don't mind some little frustrations and some cosmetic issues, I can recommend the unit. ... show more

the printed pictures of instructions was for a five shelf unit, I bought a four shelf unit. Sturdy audio rack. I think that it will work just fine.

DO NOT BUY THIS I purchased the first one and it arrived in a damaged box but the worst part was the paint finish. The black visible side supports are all smudged and disfigured as if they were packaged before the paint was dry or the foam reacted with it. It also had a bad dent in the edge of the metal support. There are also terrible grind marks and divots from poor workmanship in welding and assembly. Amazon replaced it (which meant it all had to be re-boxed etc. for return/ it's HEAVY) and when the second one arrived it had the exact same problem. In order to make the metal bars even presentable I had to cover them with a vinyl to hide the poor quality. It's not cheap but it sure is poorly done. ... show more

Nice rack. Need too invest a few dollars and do a proper video and printed instruction sheet listing included parts on how to assemble this rack. Very functional, but not the most aesthetically pleasing. I chose this because it was more compact than other alternatives. A bit of a challenge to assemble, mostly because the instruction video was at high speed.
