This is a very nice little greenhouse for the money. Not perfect , but for the money, pretty nice. I ordered the 8x14 and kind of wish I had ordered the 10x12. The main reason for that is the 10x12 is taller. For the 8x14, I ended up framing pressure treated 2x6s on end for the greenhouse to sit on for an additional 11 inches of height. This also means building steps on the inside and outside at the door. Which I'll get to eventually. So the bit extra for the 10x12 greenhouse is absolutely worth it, because it cost me more in materials to raise it and build steps than the price difference between them. With the additional 11in in height, I'm able to stand comfortably at the edge of the roof (lowest point), and I'm 5'10". And that's including several inches of mulch on the floor. Having said that, I'm very pleased with it. It's fairly sturdy and feels like it could withstand a storm. Maybe not a midwestern storm, but here in WV, I think it'll do fine. The window panes are a bit flemsy and cheap feeling, but again, for the money, I'm pretty happy with it. And, to be honest, I think the way they designed their panels will likely offer more insulation than solid poly panels or glass. So, the way the windows are designed does seem to offer functionality, even if they do feel a bit cheap. Also, the roof vents need a rubber band to keep the prop arms attached. The wind picks them up, unhooks them, and then they fall closed. So I've got rubber bands holding the prop arm onto the screw that they use to hook it. Now, some have said the instructions are confusing and it takes forever to build. Well, sort of. Some things could certainly be depicted better. But if you take your time and study each drawing closely, and study the parts closely to make sure you're installing it correctly, you'll be fine. The issues are mainly in two areas. The central beam that makes up the roof centerline could have been drawn a little better. And the last few pages of instructions have some errors, such as not listing the quantity of parts correctly and not noting the parts in the drawing correctly. It's easy enough to figure out, but it was a little confusing at first. Just think through it. It makes sense as long as you're aware there's some mistakes in the instructions and can sort of think logically about where things should go and how they should attach. As far as issues, the way the panels slide in can be a bit tricky. It takes two people. One inside and one outside. If a panel feels like it isn't fitting, or if the beams between the panels aren't connecting or have a gap, start loosening screws on the frame to let everything settle where it wants to instead of forcing it. And some of the window panels had crushed or bent edges which made things difficult. But they weren't so damaged that it was worth returning. For the most part you can't even tell, it just made getting the panels fit into place a bit more difficult. Also, the door frame isn't perfectly square. I tried adjusting locations of the frame with screws, but couldn't get the door squared. Probably the base not being perfectly level or square, but some sort of adjustment or shims around the door would have been nice. It does close though so not a big deal. It just rubs in the top right corner when it closes. Time to build... Well, that depends on how many mistakes you make. For the most part, as long as you're paying attention and studying the drawings closely, it pretty much only goes together one way and it's obvious when you have the wrong part or putting something in the wrong direction. That said, I did make a few mistakes that cost me some time. Like on the ridge beam at the top, I didn't use the metal plates under the bolts and nuts at the joints because I didn't notice them in the drawing, and getting the screws back out without that plate in there is difficult. That cost me 2 hrs. Mainly because I had to drill out a couple bolts and go to the hardware store for more. So study the drawings closely 😂 But, overall, even including 2-3 hours worth of mistakes, and some breaks because it was hot, etc, I started at 9am, and finished at 7pm. And that's just the greenhouse, not any of the leveling of the ground, or building a base to elevate it, or any of that. All that was done on the previous weekend. So, expect a full day of building just the greenhouse, not including any time to prepare the site to build on. Then of course time to shovel in mulch or whatever you're going to use for a floor. Plus plumbing if you choose to have it. Another note, carefully use a razor blade to remove the film from the roof vent window panels. The frames are riveted so you can't take it apart, so when you peel the film off it just tears at the edges leaving torn bits stuck under the metal frame. Run a razor blade down the edges of the metal frame, then peel off the film. Just don't cut the window. For space, 8x14 isn't as big as you'd think it is. It's plenty for what we're going to use it for, but I think 10x14 would be a better size. Actually, 10x14 with an 8 or 9 ft roof peak would be ideal. Things you'll need... Well, I had to dig a 100ft trench to lay a pex water line to have a garden hose faucet, water timer, water filters, misting nozzle system, etc. And to use it year round, we're going to be adding a heat pump. Which will mean another 100ft trench for laying a 10/2 cable w/ conduit to get power to the heat pump. But it does need cooled in the summer, and heated in the winter. Obviously that depends on where you live, but in WV our summers are in the 90s and winters are usually mild to cold (highs in the 20s to 40s, and lows in the teens, with occasional extreme lows of -30° (polar vortex). All in all, very pleased with the purchase. If I was going to do it again, I might actually save up and frame my own out of timber and use glass windows. Maybe a brick wall at the end. Just for the aesthetic of it. But the cost would be massively more expensive. So again, for the money, this is fantastic. If you're on a budget and a the expense of a scratch build is out of reach, whether because of money or lack of skill in building from-scratch construction, or just don't want to devote a bunch of money to it, this is a very reasonably priced option that you'll be pleased with. It doesn't take much skill, just study each drawing closely and take your time. Do that and you'll be fine. It is actually pretty logically designed so even in the places where the drawings don't make much sense or there's errors in the drawings, it still doesn't take much to figure out what needs done. Forgive the mess in the photos. Haven't cleaned up the trash, or the tools, or finished landscaping around the greenhouse yet. I was exhausted when I finished it, and my wife and I tore up a pretty decent sized section of our yard leveling the site and digging the trench. (well, more of a hill than a yard) But it's built. And I hurt everywhere 😂 Update: I just ordered a 12" solar powered exhaust fan. This morning it was 68° outside at 10am, and due to our property being on the West side of a small mountain, the sun didn't even start hitting the greenhouse until about 9am, but by 10am the greenhouse was already 93°. That was with the roof vents open. And our plants need it to stay under 85°. I propped the door open which kept it under 90° during the hot part of the day, but it definitely needs an exhaust fan. And probably a 70% shade tarp and an AC in the summer. It collects heat very well. I was worried that just having plastic windows without much sealing around them that there'd be an issue with heat escaping. That does not appear to be the case. I've also ordered a 1500w greenhouse heater for winter, so I'll update this review again after I see how it does during the cold months. But my guess is that it won't take much heating to keep it above 40°

I spent nearly a month comparing other greenhouses before finally ordering this one. After installation, I felt like I had to write a review because I absolutely love it —especially to give the instruction manual its due credit. It's honestly the most meticulously crafted manual I've ever seen. First, the installation. Just my husband and I tackled it, neither of us being professionals. We usually argue over assembling simple furniture. But with this 6x8 greenhouse, we barely raised our voices the entire time. Every page of the manual clearly labeled each step and specified which parts to use, with all component numbers printed crisply. Most thoughtfully, it even highlighted potential reversal points with enlarged diagrams—these warnings saved us from at least three common pitfalls. The material quality exceeded expectations too. The aluminum feels solid and substantial in your hands, with no rough edges and perfectly flush joints. When installing the roof panels, I expected the usual struggle to force them into place, but they slid into position effortlessly—proof of their precision molding. Doors and windows open and close smoothly without any snags, and the seals are perfectly aligned. After assembly, we hosed it down thoroughly, and not a single drop seeped through. One more detail worth mentioning: they packaged all screws, washers, and connectors in separate bags, each labeled with the corresponding step number. No more dumping all parts on the floor and hunting for pieces throughout the house. Unpacking was a pleasant experience, and when I paused mid-assembly, I could pick up where I left off without digging through the manual again. Honestly, I was a bit worried before buying whether this DIY structure would be unstable or leak. After assembly, I realized my concerns were unfounded. For this price point, achieving this level of precision and clarity in the instructions feels like a great value.

Great greenhouse. Instructions were very detailed and fairly easy to follow. Great for keeping your plants from the winter cold but plants will die in summer months because 1 roof window is not enough to ventilation to keep plants cool.

The green house looks very nice and beautiful in my backyard. Installation is not too hard, but you must read the instructions carefully. If you make a mistake, take out the panels is very difficult and takes time. After finishing, it feels very strong and stable. Before planting, I plan to put a table and chair inside, sit in the sun, very relaxing and happy. Also I didn't set it to the ground yet, it have been two rainy with wind. But the house is still stable. The quality is very good.

I bought the SYLVIERA 8x14FT Walk-in Greenhouse brand new on Amazon, and I’m very disappointed. Several of the pieces arrived dented and scratched, which is unacceptable for a new item. I was still able to get it assembled, but the instructions were very poor and difficult to follow. I had to rely on the videos, and even those were only somewhat helpful. The assembly process was much more frustrating than it should have been. For the amount of time and effort this took, I expected much better quality and much clearer directions. Receiving damaged parts on top of bad instructions made this a very frustrating experience. I’m not happy with this purchase at all, and that’s why I’m giving it 1 star.
