I am really satisfied with this product. It was very easy to put together. We had 4x4 pressure treated lumber and pea gravel laid down for the foundation and built the house on the 4x4s. My biggest concern was wind. We get 60-70 mile winds and I was so afraid of it blowing away. We secured the building down with ties to the 4x4s and it's been a year (all 4 seasons) and she's holding up fantastic. My only regret is not getting the bigger size.

It relatively easy to put together but a team of two people is recommended. -This is not cedar at all, it is some type of light weight wood that tends to split easily if you place the screws too close to an edge. -Some of the holes are indeed too close to the edge and the wood will split. Some epoxy, wood clamps and new holes will be necessary in some places. -Mechanical parts like the door lock and the ventilation hinge are cheap plastic. You will need to replace them. -The unit once put all together needs a good preserving coating. The wood is treated but give that it splits easily the coating will not last too long. -For some simple hobby stuff it is a good buy and it will fit easily in small places.

Absolutely LOVE this greenhouse!!!! The assembly directions were so easy to follow. All the pieces were clearly marked. Put most of it together by myself (only required assistance for 1 step). If you are looking for a great quality greenhouse you have found it here. Added some automatic vent owners (also found on Amazon) and a misting system. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP!!! YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DIDN'T.

Absolutely love this greenhouse. It's a lot of work to put up and I would advise getting a powered caulking gun to caulk every seem but it's worth it. Put it up last autumn for early spring use. We have had several weekends and days with 50+ mile per hour winds and above. So far 2 blizzards but not one bit of snow inside the greenhouse and it's solid. We did purchase anchors and anchored it down since we know our winter weather. Oh, heck that's nothing compared to some of the summer storms. Can't wait to start using it next month to get a jump start on my gardening. Highly recommend if you want something that looks great in your yard and holds up. Looks far better than those plastic dome ones that one good storm can cause damage to.

We are very pleased with our new greenhouse! The price on this item is just right, and the quality has met our requirements. It took my husband 2 days to build. We did a wood frame and filled it with 3/4" gravel. The cedar frame attached very nicely to this and smells wonderful. The two ceiling vents are nice, and the doorknob is comfortable to grip and looks to be sturdy. The plastic window panels refract light nicely and aid in keeping plants safe from the harsh afternoon sun. I would recommend adding a sink, heater, and some sturdy metal racks to complete your look. 5 STARS!

I am giving this product one star only because you can't give zero stars. Customer support for this product is dismal. I had a part for the door that got wet and swelled and all of the boards popped off. Their solution was to glue them back on. I offered to buy the part and the answer was no, we do not sell parts. Also, these wooden parts are extremely thin and flimsy and have to be handled carefully to avoid splitting. I am recommending that you DO NOT BUY this Chinese product. There has to be better DIY greenhouse kits out there. You should pass on this one. If you don't, you might regret it like me.

Smells wonderful, looks great. Assembly instructions (all pictures) were pretty good. It took my wife and I three days working only four hours every morning per day to assemble. Spend an hour on the first day with about 30 3X5 cards and label the wood pieces. While they are labeled the print is small and you don't want to waste time going through piece by piece over and over again - looking for part A3 for example. Only ding is for the folding window hinges - they could use some sort of rubber gasket under them as I can see daylight and rain will pass through them. With the price of fruits and vegetables ever increasing (and the nutritional value falling) this greenhouse should pay for itself in a few short years - perhaps the first year to the hard core gardener. I think the greenhouse adds value to my home, because even if the next owner is not into gardening it could be a fun space for children to play outside nearly year round.

Beautiful greenhouse! Withstood ice storm and snow storm! It was NOT as easy to assemble as some reviews say, but we got it done. My husband and I are not builders, so it took us a few days to build. We had a friend help when we got to the part of sliding in ceiling tiles. Our greenhouse is the 8 x 16 kit. However, I am 100% pleased with this kit.
