for 6$ I got these. They are great and I use every day. I spent 45 for just the other tweezer, while Im sure the 45$ tweezer will have a better finish if I never use them, I think it is far more likely both will be bent, rebent, resharpened before the finish becomes problematic. . I don't expect these to last for ever but at this pricepoint they are disposable. I would order a set of these and a sharpening stone. These have points narrow enough to reach into very small spaces. They are sturdy enough to be held tightly onto the thing they're grasping. But they are smooth on the inner sides and can slip off it if it resists being lifted or pulled. A slight roughness to the inner sides at the ends would be helpful, especially on the one tweezer that has rounded, not pointed ends. The points are extremely sharp and can stick you or scratch the thing you're working on if you're not careful. These are great.. Not heavy duty but i didn't buy heavy duty. They are for picking up and placing tiny parts and shouldn't be used as pry picks. The really best part is that they are cheap and if you do damage one it's cheap replacement. When i am working and in my element these are on my bench along side my knipex and to be honest i've been buying these to replace worn/broken knipex ones and @ $30 - $50 each i can't justify it anymore. They are of good quality material, but unfortunately, three tweezers do not meet at the point (where it is critical). They should be fine if you don't need them for fine detail work. But if you are trying to remove single threads or very fine wire, it can be really frustrating. They were not expensive (you get what you pay for), so it's not worth the effort of returning.
