This product is built by multiple factories for multiple companies, and bulk branded versions can be purchased from various Chinese marketplaces. This one is alright, doesn't do anything new and the quality is decent enough. I wanted to hang my backpack, with or without the laptop inside of it. This hanger is sturdy, durable, and quality metal, not cheap plastic. The clamp is the right size and works just fine with my desk that has a metal bar under the desktop. There is a thin piece of foam or rubber that helps the keeps latch closed that could wear down over time, but I don't see it as a deterrent to buying this hanger. I have attached this to one leg of the table I am using for my computer desk, and set my headphone on it to free up desk space. I really like that the mounting bracket can be turned so that it can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The machining of the screws/screw holes/allen wrench, however, are not quite up to snuff. Everything works as expected, but the allen wrench takes a little work to get into the screw heads, and the screw holes appear to be off-level. The screws go in fine, but they are not perpendicular, regardless which orientation is used. Very odd. Despite those problems, I am able to change the orientation of the mounting bracket without too much problem, and once mounted it is not coming off this table's leg until I remove it. By that I mean that it mounts quite firmly, so I am very satisfied with that. It is probably overkill for the headphones I am using, but that is the least of my concerns. I am simply happy that I can keep my headphones plugged into my computer and have them tucked away, leaving my desk clear, yet ready to be used whenever needed. ... show more

I looked into most of the options available and nothing is comparable to this. I almost never write Amazon reviews, but this thing compelled me to as it is exactly what I would design. Nice looking anodized Aluminum. Perfect rubber padding for where it clamps and where your headphones (or something else) will hang. I have a sit/stand desk and this attaches perfectly under my desk on the leg (leg is just over 50mm wide and it could have gone a couple more mms). I think the thing that made me really feel like I needed to write a review was I rotated it immediately to go on my desk and they included an Allen key and it is sized to swing perfectly and everything else is thought through so it fits/looks perfect in either configuration. This should be the baseline in mechanical design, but so many products screw up the simple things. This thing is perfect, however, and it's really nice not having to worry about 3M tape not sticking or damaging my desk (since it has the nice rubber pads). ... show more

EDIT: Second review. My boyfriend ordered me a second one of these because I have two sets of headphones and below is the review of the first one where I really liked the product. We ordered it again and this time it didn't come with the screw on fixture, just some 3M sticky pads to stick it to the desk and a black item that I cannot figure out because there's no instructions so I can't figure out how to install it. I'm not sure why, we ordered two of these so they should have been the same. I'll attach a picture of the second one as well. Edit: 1st review. (Super easy to install and ready to go when you open the box (unless you want the hook horizontal instead of vertical, then you just have to unscrew two screws and reattach it the way you want it, tools were included). Feels very sturdy, I have Razer Kanken headphones which are a bit on the heavier side and they hold them up with no problem. Nice metal finish, matches my setup well.) ... show more
