I shopped for vanities for a good 2 months before deciding to give this one a try. It came quickly and in one large, VERY heavy box. It also comes in a zillion pieces, but don't be perturbed - if you have ever assembled furniture, you can do this. It takes awhile with one person, but once my husband and I both worked on it, it came together much quicker. The measurements provided in the listing are accurate. I'm 5'7 and have no trouble using it. It easily holds my embarrassingly large makeup collection. If you purchase a chair that is meant for use at a vanity, meaning a chair that is not tall, you will have no trouble using this one. The mirror has three different lighting settings that are easy to use and allow you to see what your makeup should look like in natural lighting, which I love. It came with all necessary parts and was not damaged in any way. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to have some additional screws, mainly because I dropped one and had to search forever before I found it. It would be nice to have some just in case of an emergency. I saw that one of the other reviews said that the vanity is small. If you have ever owned a vanity prior to this one, you will know that this is definitely not a small vanity. Also, vanities are incredibly expensive. I considered some that cost almost $2000 and were not as sizeable as this one. I honestly do not see how this could be considered a vanity for a child rather than an adult. Just for laughs, I asked my husband, who is 6'2, to sit at it. He said that warm lighting makes his skin look awesome. Anyway, this was an awesome purchase and I don't regret it.

Took forever to put together and I would definitely say it's not a 1-person job, but the instructions are clear and it came together beautifully. It's actually a very big vanity and it has so much storage. The whole thing is very sturdy and I love that you have the option to put it together so that it fits in a corner instead of just flat against the wall. I've had mine for a while now, and all the lights still work and all the buttons are still functional. Make sure you like where you put it though, because it is HEAVY

This item should be flagged for deceptive product photos. This vanity is nice looking aesthetically (hence the 2 stars) but is more suitable for a young child. My wife who is 5'5" found it to be way too small and uncomfortable as the height for leg room is only 2'. Buyer beware.
