Super easy to take apart, came with tools, and if anyone is having trouble. The Screws don't come out fully, just until you hear or feel a "click" then use your nail or "lifter tool" to open case. The big problem with the Wii u's battery (and most controllers battery) is that most last for only a few hours, Like for one to two. That bad for a controller if you want to play for long gaming sessions. Especially with the wii u's screen that desplays another screen for gameplay purposes. But by upgrading the Wii U's battery from 1500w to 6600w, it's batter wil for a couple of hours to around 10 or more hours of gameplay. ... show more

The battery was easy to install and works fine. It appears to last a long time, but I can't remember how long the original battery lasted when it was new to make an accurate comparison. For my use, this was a great investment.
