Don’t let the negative reviews or low ratings turn you away, this handbrake is very nice quality overall. There are no instructions, but that’s really no issue. I’ve included my bolt setup, which should clear up any confusion. This particular listing is also the cheapest for this specific model of handbrake, which is typically priced anywhere from $65-$150 elsewhere, even though it is literally the exact same thing. Pros; - Very structurally rigid, no wobble or play anywhere. - The handbrake is recognized as “hand brake,” rather than “luciano arduino,” which is a small caveat usually associated with this specific model of handbrake. - The handbrake is immediately recognized by windows, and no additional calibration was needed. - Works in Assetto Corsa, CarX Drift Racing, and Forza Horizon 5. - Features a latch for a parking brake. Cons; - The grip is less than desirable, but it’s really not uncomfortable. - The slight mechanical noise could be considered a con, but I personally wouldn’t consider it loud by any means. USB cable was not secured by the hot glue from the manufacturer. I opened the top and applied a generous amount and that solved my connectivity issues. Once installed make sure to go to your settings on the pc to display game controller settings, and dial in the sensitivity/actuation on the physical unit by using the main central Allen key. adjusting the tension and position of the spring to your desired pull rate. ... show more

Not sure if the unit is used but one of the main bolts to tighter the support bracket that clamps on to the desk seems to have broken threads. The upper right bolt just continues to just turn and refuses to tighten as if the thread has been stripped even though the unit appears to be brand new. Aside from this issue I’d give it a 10/10 I’m sure if you spend more money the actuation point would be more accuracy there seems to be just 3 but for the money spent I can’t complain aside from the bracket not being able to fully bolt down to my desk due to provided hardware. Could be a 1 off and that’s what you get for cheaping out it’s not a total deal breaker but for almost 100 bucks I’d expect better quality control. Will update if a fix is provided ... show more

So it worked fine. But putting it together wasn’t so smooth. For somebody with no tools of their own and no extra screws or hardware around it may be a struggle. The base plate screw holes were full of burs and didn’t line up very well. I was only able to get 3 of the 4 screws in. The other absolutely wouldn’t fit as it wouldn’t line up with the hole. The screw that was meant to hold the cup for the clamp was no where near the right size. It was 2 or 3 sizes to small and not even the same thread pattern. Luckily I had my own tools and extra hardware to make everything work. Not a huge surprise but Just be aware that it’s cheap. ... show more
