I think that this is a pretty nice set of hoops to make a small row cover for the garden. I went with 4 Stars because I am not positive about the sturdiness - I think it will be OK, but just not sure. Let me start there. Let me point out that each hoop has 5 fiberglass rods and 4 connectors. Please see the picture in the Amazon listing to get a good idea of how this all goes together. You'll note that 2 of the connectors are in a "straighter" section of the hoop - the two lower ones on each side. The other 2 connectors are in a more "curved" section, those are the two upper one on each side. Now, check out the pictures in this review. You 'll see that one of the connectors is pretty straight - that's one of the lower ones. The other connector is bent, that is one of the upper connectors in the more curved section of the hoop. The connector *seems* like it is strong enough to take that amount of bending ... but I'm just not sure. Because of that, I went with a 4 Star rating. I included a picture of the box it comes in - you can see how to use it in the picture and you also can see how to assemble it from the picture on the box - there are no instructions included. The last picture shows the nice protective gloves that are included in the package. They will protect your hands from getting any fiberglass slivers while assembling the hoops. It also includes a more generous amount of "clips" - many hoops only include one set of 2 clips per hoop, this one includes two sets of two clips per hoop. I find that I need at least 2 sets of clips per hoop to hold my plastic, netting, or shade cloth in place. You can purchase extra clips on Amazon if needed. I can cautiously recommend this product. I'm keeping it, I'm not sending it back. I think the connectors will hold, but I'm not sure for how long. It's really only the connectors that concern me.

This hoops is for my backyard, we planted lots of vegetables and fruits, the animals they eat it all. We were very upset. So now I got those hoops and I can protect my fruits and vegetables, keep them out. So I want the great harvest which we derived , we work so hard.

I have used these to hold netting on my garden. Both over and around it and they have been perfect for my needs. I like that I can make these any size I want/need. These are simple to install and use. One tip, glue the connecters to one side of the rods so they will not fall or fly off if you slip while bending them into place. the included clips are great for holding netting in place. These are extremely handy and I am sure I will get several years use from them. Just what I needed for my garden.
